Missouri was the Brennan injury game. Probably why we didn’t sneak it at the end. Brennan was hurting. But overall, Coach Ensminger has my respect. A true Tiger.

A Tiger through and through!

Even though I've complained about lack of creativity, he had no ego with allowing Brady to come in and we won an NC thanks in part to that. I'm glad he still has a position because O is the one who wanted him as the OC when he was doing fine asa position coach before that.

I think he did a good job with squeezing as much out of our QBs as possible this year under the circumstances.

E deserves to be treated like LSU royalty, because he is. Thank you E.

I with you on this. You just lost a pretty damn good nose to Baylor, because the last coach you hired essentially phased him out. O wanted an attacking 4-3. You think you guys like Roy and Masson Smith’s going to want to be space eaters?

Then you add that to the fact that we couldn’t get more than two linebackers to look half decent all year. I’m calling bullshite on this. Coach O wanted a 4-3. If he goes back to a 3-4, it’s because he’s being pressured to do so.

Can he keep coaching QBs? He had both freshmen well prepared this year

I’m glad they’re retaining him. He stepped up when needed and over exceeded all of our expectations.

Hopefully freeman will come
I just don't think its going to be him. Hope it is

Freeman is one of the best young coaches around.

He has already turned down 2 dc positions
Lsu will be lucky to get him

IF they are going after Freeman, than it wouldn't be a switch to a 3-4 but rather a variation of the 335 often called the 3-3-3 that is really what a lot of the best DCs in college are going to right now, at least situationally.

Hold up, there were some questionable calls throughout the season but I thought E did a DAMN fine job for what he was working with.
OC was a job he never wanted. He was content to remain a position coach and didn't need to climb the ladder to stroke his ego. When his HC called for him to sacrifice his anonymity, he stepped up and asked for help. In a position most coaches would feel was awkward, he played a major role in one of the greatest offenses in college football history. He probably would have taken a backseat to Brady this year if Joe has stayed. It wouldn't surprise me if Ensminger didn't go to Orgeron and insist that he find another OC that was more capable to be what LSU needs.

E is a Tiger through and through, much more loyal to LSU than a lot of you fly by night fair weather punks.

Just because he's old like me doesn't mean he doesn't know some football. He's done a good job.

I am betting he is voluntarily stepping to another role not only because he's tired but more so for the good of the team and wanting to see new blood and new ideas.

Those who have gave him hell these years need to get a life.

Why is ESPN reporting E to retire rather than be reassigned as I’ve seen here? I know they’re crappy, but that’s a pretty big difference.

This isn't surprising. He was happy coaching TEs.

Good God our fans are fricking stupid...

Bama versus freshman
A&M versus freshman
Auburn versus freshman
Arkansas versus freshman (we won btw)

Mizzou, the calls were good calls. It was shite execution by a qb that was far more injured than he knew at the time ;maybe he couldn’t make the throws, but the calls were fine).

I have no issue with Slinger moving on, but for God’s sake man, learn more about football before attempting to act as though you do.
