what difference does UCF-Tulane make? Tulane doesn't play in the dome, or are they getting a payoff?

Tulane's stadium wasn't an option due their agreement with the neighborhood

Not sure what you're asking. Just the fact that one reschedule down in the peninsula has happened because of this storm.

Lots of shuffling going on. UCF's game in Florida moved to November. Old Dominion's game in Virginia moved to Friday. No word on #LSU yet.

Wait .. WHAT? They can't play in a new stadium because of an agreement with a neighborhood near where the stadium is??

Is moving the game to Sunday an option? Seems like everyone thinks a change of venue is coming.

Aftermath of storm and displacement is more of an issue than when the storm is actually hitting. Not sure playing on Sunday makes a difference. Their bye weeks don't line up so I don't know how they re-schedule.

We had a game with A&M in 1988 when Hurricane Gilbert was bearing down on the texas coast. Literally as late as friday morning Bama officials had a call with the texas EMA and they could not guarantee our team could get out and how long they would be there if they couldnt. Its just a chance that would be irresponsible to take. We played the game later but we both had dates we could play but do not send these boys into that situation. We dont need you having a Marshall situation. Error on the side of caution and then you know its gonna be ok.
There are some parallels. Bama had its starting QB injured the week before, so Bill Curry was awful eager to call of the trip to College Station, and did so unilaterally (not being a conference game, there was no one to force Bama to come). It turned out to be a beautiful day in College Station--all the reporters who came to town to cover the game ended up golfing instead. If Florida wanted to take a page out of Curry's book, they would just straight up cancel the game because of their injury situation.

If Florida is balking at playing on LSU's homefield, the Mercedes-Benz Superdome is vacant this weekend since the Saints have an open date.

As of 9:00AM, nobody at the superdome has received any calls or had any discussions about this scenario.

Wherever it may be moved, would the SECN still carry the game? Any tv coverage at all?

Well if the times-pic said it.....

I've said this several times in 2 days, not many or no D! colleges want 2 fans outside fan bases on their campus. Furthermore, Athens is 1 storm shift away from being right in the line of this storm.
