Now this is a hire I can certainly get excited about.

Would be interesting but analysts can't coach players. They can coach the coaches, but not the players.

ETA: Sullivan's 2019 replacement?

This would make sense, so I have no confidence it’s true until confirmed.

Since Ensminger hasn't designed his own offense in so long, I would imagine that Nussmeyer would be a valuable asset in helping him build the offense from scratch since he's been an OC recently. Just my opinion.

Do you really believe any of these schools follow this rule?

I believe he was the OC at UF last year, but I remember his play calling at Bama and the offense he ran is what I was impressed with.

Eta: If that's the style of offense LSU runs this year, I will be very pleased.

Used to think he was a rising star but he’s been pretty terrible at every stop since Saban ran his arse

That's the role of any analyst, so yeah, I imagine he would be.

I feel like with everyone hiring analyst it’s starting to seem like teams are hiring them just to take them off of the market and hope one day they can be on the squad. How much do these people get paid? If nothing why would they donate their time?

This has been rumored for the last few weeks. Mentioned on 104.5 and also on football Scoop I believe.
