What calls might that be? There were none, that’s why. How many did they reverse when they called it for LSU? All of them, that’s how many.

Officiating isn't fixed by making calls. It's fixed by the calls they don't make.
Stein knew too. Once he saw two edge runs with no call, he kept calling it again and again. Then, Kiffin went ape shite towards the end of the first half and we never saw it again.

We all saw the same thing you did but if you think Kiffen wasn't expecting this treatment from Sankey & the SEC, you're crazy. That said, YOU MUST PLAY PERFECT TO OVERCOME THE REFS!!!! LSU did EVERYTHING to lose this game and they did. I blame Lane, Baker and Leavitt not the refs but they SUCKED will continue to suck. Just wait until LSU plays Alabama and Texas you will really hate SEC refs.

Princewill was held all fricking night and there were 2-3 blatant blocks in the back on the punt return. Go watch the replay of that one. Egregious

OMG i am right with you. there were 8 calls/no calls that screwed us that day.
blatant stuff. egregious. the SEC does not care about us. I wanted to leave for the big east. back then it was the easiest path to the BCS title game.
in that conference we woulda had a shot to make it to the natty in 09, for sure 2010, 2011, 2012. sure, the conference disbanded in 2013 but it woulda beena great run then jump to the BIG 12 or something.

the non. call of the punt return of 97 about to make the tackle was two hand pushed in the back by #5 such that he couldn't touch the runner....right in front of the ref. I called it when it happened, Go watch the replay and you can't miss it.....but the Sankey ref id.

We also shot ourselves in the foot. Our defense had two personal fouls on the same drive. One for retaliating with a punch right in front of a referee, and the other was a late hit on the quarterback, after Kentucky failed to convert a third and long. The went on to score on that drive, when we should have put them in a punting situation. The refs did suck, no doubt, but we played stupid for most of the game. In a close game, stupid loses.

Everyone is also forgetting about the PF and 15 yard penalty that Kentucky should have gotten when their player booted the football across the stadium after the fumble recovery. That’s the easiest call in the world to make and the refs didn’t even care.
