he managed them right the frick out of this game.
He's got a pile of nothing in his bullpen and he yanks his starter after 14 pitches. Nonsense overreaction.
Starter gives up 5+ then I get it, but with this pen you need all you can get out of him. No way he doesn't think this pen was going to not melt down.
Classic over managing.
Just makes me feel better as he plays this petty card and drags the game on

Regardless of the delay, they're running out of arms. They'll be trotting out fricking infielders soon to try and get a few outs

He drug this game out to take away the fans just like yesterday. The difference between the two days is that he went over board today and looks like a complete jackass.

They weren't winning this game with 4 runs in an inning they were gifted 4 walks.

I missed my chance to pitch in college by 10 years. I can throw 80mph at somebody's head. I'd fit right in with that bullpen.

Beginning ?the night, I found it unsettling to pull against him but with him going full Cohen tonight, I fully enjoyed skullfricking his boys and watching him flop on the deck for 4 hours

He also managed a team that was supposed to be 2nd to last in the sec west to a last weekend being in 1st. He also managed a team that was decimated in pitching and got them to a super regional.
You may dis like him for his actions or attitude today, but he a good coach and he got the most out of a mediocre team. He made them better. He didn't have the horses down the stretch.
I'm not looking forward to having to play him every year especially when he gets his players and system in. Just remember he took the job almost last minute and he was able to get this far.

Good post. He got his squad to the supers with only one stud pitcher. Dude knows what he's doing, and will be a force going forward.

LSU seriously did that one time ... wish I could remember what time frame it was but I think Skip (maybe Smoke) was the coach ... someone who played elsewhere had been a pitcher and said yeah what the heck I'll try. Didn't do a bad job! Have no recollection of it was a regular game but I'd guess it was.
