I thought he should have left the lefty in.
LSU looked foolish against him and he might have been able to get you some more innings.

Cannizaro got LSU to Omaha with a loaded 15 team at LSU but the offense was terrible once there.
In 16 Coastal high school pitching made LSU's offense look weak.

He was never a Tiger in my book!

He's got a pile of nothing in his bullpen and he yanks his starter after 14 pitches. Nonsense overreaction.

When he pulled the starter I knew we had the game one. It was a matter of time. Wasn't even remotely worried when they scored 4.

"Never a Tiger in my book". AC is a full blown tulane greenie and has never "been" a Tiger. He simply used LSU to build his resume' & I am fine with that. But he's no Tiger by any means. Not only did he mess with the LSU fans with all the dumb/irrelevant pitching changes, twice he was laughing on his way to the mound when the boos were bouncing off him. For all his lovers here singing his praises, he was a Class A tulane greenie & Moo St. Cohen last nite. Why in hell would any LSU fan pull for a greenie & a dawgie?

For those of us that gave in to sleep and missed the last part of the game, what exactly did Canny do? Did he really go full Cohen? Like throwing at Mason Katz and shite?

e also managed a team that was supposed to be 2nd to last in the sec west to a last weekend being in 1st. He also managed a team that was decimated in pitching and got them to a super regional. You may dis like him for his actions or attitude today, but he a good coach and he got the most out of a mediocre team. He made them better. He didn't have the horses down the stretch. I'm not looking forward to having to play him every year especially when he gets his players and system in. Just remember he took the job almost last minute and he was able to get this far.

Full Cohen.

The first delay, when we had a rally going, grounds supervisor told blue we were good to play because it was a very small cell that just popped up. Canny comes out if the dugout bitching and blue calls it.

Then their big righty (name?) Was living high and tight. There were 4 or 5. Kramer, Beau, and Cole are the only 3 I can remember at the moment. Not saying he was calling for it, but it is state so....

Then he made several completely irrelevant pitching changes after the game was out of reach trying to take the moment away, but Paul one upped his arse anyway.

Just a very Cohen-esque performance all around imo.

Someone tell me if I'm way off base here. Just how I saw it from 210 last night.

Will Harris used to pitch in relief and was an infielder here before he went full time in the majors.

Some of you are very odd and take this stuff way too seriously.

He was definitely trying to take the moment away......the last guy he put in had threw 7 innings all year and had an ERA over 14!

So glad Paul gave his seniors and diechman their moment in the 9th

Andy will be the most hated coach by LSU fans in less than 3 years....he's already at the top of my list...class A douchbag

I fall in somewhere between this^ and all the guys that were pissed because they wanted Andy to stay and Paul to leave. I wish he was still our hitting coach, other than that I don't care.

I don't hate him. Maybe after a few seasons who knows.

That would be great for baseball. Nothing like having a villain coaching a rival team.

His actions screamed "frick LSU" all night both games. I don't even know the nature of his departure or the "bad terms" he left on like the announcers said. But it was obvious he doesn't like LSU or Manieri or both.

Tiger Bait now.

I didn't get past the first rain delay last night, so I didn't see everything. What I saw in game 1 and part of game 2 was a young coach who knew his team had been beaten. The "bad blood" between Andy and Paul I assumed was stretched by the media to further dramatize the games. (I don't remember exactly when it was reported that Andy had actually left on bad terms. Wasn't it right before the series against them?)

We'll see in the coming seasons how big of a douche he is or isn't.

Announcers talked about it last night, that's what I was referring to. I thought Cannizaro looked like a nervous wreck tbh.

Last week I posted Cannizaro is a typical Tulane douche and got a lot of ctiticism for it.

I hope other posters now see what I've seen in him.
