Guillory hasn’t been a big time player since he’s been here. Depth/experience piece only

I'm going Green also on offense with Johnson a really dark horse IF Sloan finally decides to join this century of college football and implement a QB wildcat package. On defense I'm going with another state of Florida EDGE/DE transfer (FSU)...Payton. Reliford is my honorable mention. Fingers crossed that Payton becomes another Jared Verse type of impact transfer.

BTW on your Pyburn pick on defense, let me guess....you recently saw The Replacements movie and have him as a legit Bateman/Jon Favreau candidate.

Not sure I would consider these guys "breakouts" - but I am excited to see a healthy Chris Hilton and a healthy Caden Durham

Offense: Bauer Sharp becomes a first down machine

Defense: Perk will remind everyone who he is.

Special Teams: Grant Chadwick gonna be booming that ball.

I don't think Durham is eligible for a "breakout" as you hinted at because he was a breakout LAST season. He clearly was LSU's most dangerous back in 2024. Hilton IMO could qualify as a breakout but with LSU's several weapons at WRer, I simply don't think he is going to dominate in the number of catches. He might actually be 2nd or 3rd or 4th in number of catches on the team when you consider the WRer and TE weapons that LSU has.

I want Conference USA punters to "show me". Last season, LSU had the best punter from C-USA in the transfer from La Tech and his average punt dropped like 4 or 5 yards from his Tech numbers. I didn't realize that C-USA used a different football {kidding} but how in the world can the C-USA 1st team punter end up near the very bottom of the SEC in punting. I believe he was like 12th or 13th in average yards per punt.

Dashawn Spears!
There’s a reason why he was ranked as high as he was coming in. I expect him to be a huge contributor from the jump

Payton on defense
I think barion brown is going to be great on special teams in a game early and that will get him on the field more on offense and he will shine on offense.

just looking at all of the responses, there is some serious talent on this team, I just hope:

the ol gels
nuss takes the next step
and they have good locker room chemistry

if those happen, we can go lossless

Wow really bold prediction there! The most talked about player all offseason on how he’s transformed his body and the impact he should have on the season as a former 5 star. You really went out on a limb there with “your” breakout player.

I wonder if there's any chance Ross will start over keys ,I mean,I doubt it ,keys was decent last year but Ross is a freak athlete. hes like some of those faster linebackers we've had in the past
