The conspiracy theorist in me wonders if the whole idea of the NCAA & SEC was to instigate the situation so Congress will intervene with rules on eligibility, revenue sharing, and NIL. And LSU, wittingly or not, did exactly what the NCAA & SEC wanted them to.
The realist in me wonders what unintended and unanticipated consequences will arise if such Congressional intervention happens.
