I agree with Lane that if we do not play thesse guys someone else will play them against us.............

I also believe that that the system is messed up, primarily by the NCAA....
In this case by excluding the class of 2022.

What gives me pause is picking a fight with Sankey and Co up in Birmingham.....

Is it wise to mess with the conference we play in. Sankey can screw us somewhere down the road, somewhere else.

I remember Daddy Dale, was always at logger heads with the NCAA....till they finally got him in the mid 90s and tarnished his legacy somewhat.

I’d rather be doing what we’re doing. Lane has worked harder and given more detail to our program than BK did in however many years he was here. I try to forget the last coach

It won't matter once the season has started.

Nope. Not..one…bit.

We are just taking advantage of the stupid rules they put in place. If we didn’t…someone else would have. Use it to your advantage.

Nah I have a problem with it. I'm all for using the rules to your advantage until shite is fixed. My problem is the attitude switch this university has had since scott was let go. LSU is acting all high and mighty like we are the gold standard of athletics, and other then baseball we haven't won shite in the last 5 years. Usually becoming the villain involves winning, not just being toxic.

The league didn’t keep Bama out of that BCS Championship game on 1/9/12. We owe them nothing.

I truly believe Saban and Lane have teamed up behind the scenes with others to break the NCAA down to the point that we have to start over and bring order back.

Why should any LSU fan care what the “rest of the football world” thinks?

LSU should not be in the business of making their competitors happy (nor should any other team)

EDT: By the way. Other SEC fans didn’t like LSU fans BEFORE this season. This isn’t exactly damaging LSU’s “sterling” reputation among them.

Not one bit. Kiffin is showing he will go the extra mile to fight for his players.

Future recruits are paying attention.

I'd much prefer being an aggressive villain than a submissive bitch to the NCAA like Woodward was.

I keep reminding myself that ‘if it was Alabama, Michigan or USC, it would be a minor conversation and possibly even looked at in a positive light.

Totally agree. Lane has done nothing wrong and simply playing with the cards of the current situation, and the establishment fricking hates it because he's exposed their arrogance and hypocrisy. They are using the media as their attack dogs, and LSU wins by staying focused on the task at hand...winning.

I also wish BK was swept under the rug and never mentioned again.

We weren't though? We won championships and followed the rules? I also really don't care about public perception, but I do care what the rest of the coaches who coach here thing and worry people like jay will sour on LSU and would want to leave for a non problematic university.

I bet it’s less than 10% that care about what is going on and most of those people are Ole Miss fans.

nobody is "picking a fight"

we are doing what is allowed within the confines of the law. we have federal precedent. see SCOTUS on NCAA and the colorado ruling. skanky can get mad at the NCAA. F that yankee carpeytbagging grifter.

If one of our billionaire donors with frick you $$$ really wanted to be a dick there are many ways they could get skankey to resign within 48 hours.

it is not hard to figure out.
