Herman never wanted to come to LSU. Same thing happened with Florida and Chip Kelly. Happened with Alabama and Rich Rodriguez.

Then again, you are the same retard who claimed that because miles had the 3rd best SEC record from 2014-2016 he needed to be fired

you sure you responded to the right person? I never said that at all ever. He wasn't fired because he had the 3rd best SEC record. Where you getting this shite from?

but if Orgeron had a SEC record of 15-11 in his last 3 plus years like Miles did would you think it was acceptable? Miles was losing SEC games with regularity whether he had the 3rd best or not.

didn't know this thread was about whether Miles should have been fired or not, You should start the thread if it concerns you so much.

That is really such a stupid narrative to think he was hired because of his Cajun accent.

So why was he hired? For his resume?

You kidding, right?

The original question was O or Herman. Easily, without a doubt, no question about it- Herman. Especially if Aranda is here for the d.

Let me ask you- you’d rather O and E? You’re the one who has to be kidding.

Thank God Herman didn't come here.

Tiger Ree would have to find a real job.

Herman was never coming here after UT decided to fire Charlie Strong. Texas is his dream school.

It's way too early to say. Some of you act like our program is in the trash for going 9-3 with two very close road losses in a season where at the start there was legitimate debate as to whether we'd finish 6-6.

Orgeron grabbed Burrow in the offseason. That was a massive acquisition. Does Herman pull Burrow? Does Herman go 9-3 with this LSU team this year? Who knows. Recruiting is on solid footing and we really don't know what the future holds for this LSU team.

Orgeron is by no means beyond criticism but some folks seem to be so pissed over Alleva's shitty coaching search that they are incapable of giving Coach O a fair shake at all.

The problem is Herman didn't want to be here.

And Orgeron only wanted to be here because it’s his next “dream job”. Just like ole miss was his dream job and usc was his dream job

year 2 and he's playing for a conference title.

I never thought O was a good choice, at all, let alone a better one.

That was made so obvious when he almost got as many yards and points as Matt Canada in the Texas loss to Maryland.

Maryland had a huge and obvious advantage though. They had a player who died and an interim head coach. Any Rantard can tell you that it is very difficult to beat an interim head coach.

That is the only reason Eaux was successful turning around unranked USC and LSU. They both finished nationally ranked and in bowl games after not being ranked when he took over.

No, there wasn’t. 8-4 or 7-5, sure. There was no legitimate debate about losing 6 games.

Orgeron needs to go get his friend for about 4 Seasons Kane Kiffen, and let’s pair up Aranda & Kiffen and recruit better than Saban, Smart An Mullen.... But we have to start having good QB and get them developed, then I see us beating Alabama even with Tua, next year Tua is gone and his little brother likely will end up there, but there are many good QB LSU can get. Bear Bryant’s grandson is at Trussville and he could go to Bama but he would never play due to Tua and his younger brother. I know his team is good led by him

In one word, neaux. Orgeron and the Tigers are destined to go in one direction only, and it's sure not up. Look for Aranda to leave soon.

Face it. Herman was a huge miss.

How can Herman be a huge miss when he was never coming to LSU. All he wanted from LSU was to leverage for a larger salary and buyout compensation package at Texas. He all along stated Texas was his dream job. Kirby Smart was the same with Georgia being his dream job.

The Fisher and Herman comparisons are pointless, Jimbo and Tom only used LSU for leverage to get better packages.

If Jimbo had the year in 2016 that he had in 2017 we could have gotten him at a reasonable salary and more than likely Fisher would be our coach.
