Hotlips as also at a huge disadvantage on talent. Everyone knows that Maryland, Oklahoma State and West Virginia has a huge advantage in talent over Texas. All of those teams are ranked in the top 5 every year in recruiting when not finishing #1.

It's hilarious to consider that Texas could have as much talent as Maryland. That is the ONLY reason Texas lost to them twice in two seasons. Maryland is loaded and had an interim coach. Who on Earth could overcome that?

No, there wasn’t. 8-4 or 7-5, sure. There was no legitimate debate about losing 6 games.

Yes there was. 6-6 was bantered as a worst case scenario and it wasn't entirely implausible preseason given the schedule and this team's shortcomings.

And we have a second year coach at a rebuilding program. Our OL/DL/QB/LB all needed to be rebuilt and still a work in progress.

I do want to see a much more tougher OL and DL from LSU and this staff. They're lacking toughness.

This year?

You know this is the 2nd year for both coaches?

That’s a bit concerning considering we only have 1 DL committed in this class.

Does it matter which year? Is it ever acceptable to lose to Troy?

Now it’s looking more and more like UT is on the rise to prominence.

Is it?

I’m not impressed with Herman.

better than losing to the juggernaut known as Maryland two years in a row.

Maryland is loaded with talent though. And don't let the fact that LSU fired the interim head coach of Maryland the year before. That was a HUGE advantage for the Turtles.

Losing to Troy is better than losing to Maryland?

Jesus Christ man, you’re so far gone you don’t know your arse from a hole in the ground.

LSU, under Orgeron, has lost to the following teams that are less talented than LSU:

Troy
Mississippi State
Florida
A&M
Norte Dame

Tiger Ree if you have any pool with the athletic office, please let them know we desperately need a better OC. I'm advocating for Cam Cameron to come back and give us a spark.

Yeah, 11-5 in a weaker SEC and west is so much better.

63-10 is a real eye opener when discussing how much better off we are as a program. We have a worse offense and defense, but we comin.
