Lmao. There is no comparison. Think about it. Even Alleva wanted Herman over O. Everyone did.

Herman crying on the sideline is enough for me to say no thanks.

Let's see if he wins a championship. Because as of right now what we have is 1) A guy getting beat by Jimbo in recruiting in the state of Texas, and 2) A guy who cries on the sideline.

No thanks.

I would like to see Herman with this Texas team versus our schedule

I think a better comparison is letting them both coach the same players. If you give herman our players and schedule where do you think he ends up?

and you really think we wouldn’t be playing in that game in that conference? name more than 2 losses we’d have in the big 12

It's a fruitless endeavor to say what our team would be in that conference because likely we wouldn't have the same team as we have right now.

What I'm focusing on is the coaching job that's been done for each team. I do not think Orgeron would have Texas playing for a conference championship. I do not think Orgeron is a better coach that Charlie Strong. Herman clearly is.

I frankly don't see how anyone can make a case for Orgeron over Herman anymore. Just admit we got the lesser of the two coaches. He recruits better than Orgeron and actually coaches.

He took over a program in shambles. Stop being a bunch of dumbasses and acknowledge that we missed on a good coach. They are playing today, we haven’t played on this weekend in 7 years. Beat his rival as well. Maybe twice in a season.

I'm no fan of Orgeron, but Texas plays a candy-assed schedule most years. It's no wonder a school with it's resources looks good.

I don’t think it is.

LSU fans will be talking about whiffing in Jumbo til the end of time.

Herman was the better option.

And yet they are playing for a conference championship. LSU is rooting for them to lose just to avoid playing Michigan state in the outback bowl.

honestly its is about what and what. He is just in a much easier conference and less challenging situation so it is only natural that folks who don't like coach O are going to point to Hermans so called 'success' even though they play in the Big 12 against a very week schedule and would get stomped in the SEC. Herman was never coming here anyway. I am perfectly fine with who wound up with so far. I like what coach O is building right here at LSU. So far so good but we will see how it works out.

And like clockwork you can count on o boyzzz to post Herman threads whenever Texas loses. The obsession is real.

I think some people on this site just ignore reality. Herman was NEVER coming here. He was just using LSU to sweeten the Texas deal.
