Does anyone still think Orgeron was a better hire than Herman?

I think a lot of people justified Orgeron’s hiring as a better option over Herman due to being disappointed Herman wasn’t coming. And then Herman’s tenure at UT started off slow causing more buy-in with O.

Now it’s looking more and more like UT is on the rise to prominence.

Can’t help but wonder about Herman with his OC and Aranda here at LSU.

Every year UT has a down year you would be giving Herman a raise. So yes I’d rather Oregon then a guy who always wanted to be at UT

It's been nearly 2 full years. I think it's time to let this argument go.

Herman would have us back in the hunt. He’s turning Texas around. With his offense and if Aranda had our d- it’d be exciting times.

Look like ol Hotlips can do more than make out with his players.

He's actually talking into his headset with a playsheet in front of him. It's really weird to see.

Well considering that one guy took over a 5-7 team and the other took over a 9-3 team, that makes the job he's done even more impressive.

This isn’t an apples to apples comparison. LSU was in a FAR better spot when the two coaches were hired. They’d just come off 3 straight losing seasons. LSU hasn’t had one in 20 years.

Were you saying that when Texas lost to Oklahoma State and West Virginia?

Face it. Herman was a huge miss. We could have done wonders with this offense, and Aranda leading the defense.

Herman was never coming here

however, I think his offense would appease most fans

it's a spread type with very physical tendencies, RPO and qb runs.

I think our athletes would be put in very good position to make plays in this offense.

Honestly, I thought about it after the second consecutive shutout to Bama and thought about it just now because UT is playing today and LSU is not.

Since the Big 12 and SEC are equal, right?

As long as coach O continues to be unable to move LSU closer to championships and other coaches who were on the market compete for championships or beat us, the argument will remain. It’s just a natural thing.
