Do you think Jayden Daniels could make these throws?

I don't think he'd see the receivers. Either way, he's not throwing it to a receiver who isn't wide open.

No JD can't make those specific throws, and Nuss can't break 60 yard runs. Our QBs are not the problem they are both solid options. The problem is our Oline is still getting bullied, our WRS are dropping the ball, our Rbs are meh, our defense is soft, and we are getting out-coached on both sides.

That’s the problem, not everybody is going to be wide open. He is going to have to push the ball down field and he can’t do it.

Why run when you can throw? You can throw a ball faster than you can run. A lot of people struggle to understand why running QBs handicap an offense.

True. Even 30+ year veteran coaches don’t understand this.

Yes.

First couple throws are reminiscent of one of the one he hit to Malik vs Bama.

The others look like stuff he hit last year, or on some of his ASU highlights.

It's not a matter of can with JD, it's why isn't he even trying most times.

Not doing that beats throwing interceptions.

JD couldn't make those throws if his life depended on it.

QB’s breaking 60 yard runs is the anomaly.
Acknowledging the deficient quarterback play is not the same as dismissing other areas that need to be improved. These two things are not mutually exclusive.

A quarterback that actually pushes the ball down the field would help keep the receivers more engaged. It has to be frustrating knowing that you will not get the ball when open more often than you will

Sorry to be blunt, but this is a terrible take. The QBs job is to get the ball to his playmakers via passing or by handoff.

Jaylen has become the only playmaker in the run game and limits the ability of our WRs to make plays by only throwing 5-7 yards passes. Defenses stack the box because of his run threat and dare him to beat them consistently passing, which he can’t do. Oline then struggles with 5 blocking 8.

Nuss threw more interceptions last year than Daniels.

Daniels had 388 pass attempts.
Nuss had 84.

TD has an issue with JD not throwing the ball and tucking to run or taking sacks.

TD would have an issue with Nuss forcing the ball too much and throwing interceptions.

Nuss made some great throws In the UGA game. He also threw a pick, fumbled and threw another pass that hit a DB squarely in the hands and was dropped.

Jayden threw for 208 yards in the first half vs UGA on basically 1 leg. We moved the ball with both QBs in that game.

Maybe you need the more elusive QB.

Last season in 388 pass attempts Daniels was sacked 43 times. (1 sack per 9 attempts)

Last season in 84 pass attempts Nuss was sacked 1 time. (1 sack per 84 attempts)

Not consistently. Actually, maybe even not once.
