Do you LSU fans like the Louisiana Ragin Cajuns?

I don’t ever since my frat boy brother-in-law went to school there. They all hated LSU for seemingly no reason.

I grew up a Tiger and Cajun fan. Dad played for USL in the 60s; Granddad was a big Tiger fan.
Never knew why it was one or the other. Cajuns were really fun in the Brian Mitchell and Jake Delhomme years and LSU was always the flagship.

LOL, I pull for them but, they have the little brother syndrome since they play in LSU's shadow and feel they are second fiddle in the state.

I think most LSU people could not care less and they root for ULL in some games for state reasons.
However, you are right about them. They don’t like LSU for some reason. It’s the strangest one sided “rivalry” ever

It’s a Louisiana team so yeah I pull for them except against LSU. They can be dickheads or not makes no difference to me

You’ll see that with LA Tech folks too. It’s kind of bizarre. They really hate LSU for what ever reason. Not like it’s even a rivalry, or any history there. I want all LA schools to do well.

No I went to school there but have always been a die-hard LSU fan. My sister graduated from LSU she was several years older, so back then I got to go to a lot of games early eighties to mid.

I do, but I’m from Lafayette originally. Better food over there. Nice people. Wife went to UL, but did grad work at UF, so one day/year can be problematic.

Before 2002 every school in LA pulled for every school.

I like UL-L. I laugh at them for incorrectly calling themselves the "University of Louisiana" or "Louisiana" for short.
I pull for them to win in most cases.

The Wally Pontiff (RIP) baseball incident ticked me off when this happened years ago and I haven’t liked them since... and I’ve had 2 daughters graduate from USL, ULL, LOUISIANA or whatever they call themselves...

I’ve literally heard some of their fans say that “LSU gets more money for their football program from the state and it isn’t fair” as a reason for hating them. And some other silly reasons that weren’t even remotely accurate. I dunno. I went to ULL and sometimes I hate them. But I generally want them to do well in sports.
ETA: A coworker of mine (older fella) told me a story one time about some political crap that happened back in the early 80’s or so that made him hate LSU. I don’t remember any of the details. Wish I did.
