I saw a podcast that had moscona on it ,he was so fricking embarrassing, hes sitting there saying that there's practically no chance that we dont win game 1 and that he thinks we're huge favorites and should be. he was acting like we can't be beaten . people act like its a done deal already and thats crazy to me

Only 2 SEC teams were able to get to Omaha. What does that tell you? It means overrated. Winning the NCAA Tournament is 5 times as hard as winning the SEC Tournament. Just ask Vanderbilt.

Not saying they are not good but they are not 26-0 in sec or any real conference where there is a grind. They got the easiest schedule on there bracket all above average but not true top dogs.
Hope I don’t live to regret this comment but I just don’t see it. Screw these dudes cruising through the season there is a reason they were not top8 at end of season with there schedule

Sure. But they then still made their way to this point.
LSU may very well sweep them this weekend. Doesn’t take away anything from what they did. There’s only two teams left, and other larger programs had their opportunity to knock these guys out. Every single one failed.

I am hoping for hydrated Tigers who hold up well in the heat. Anderson doesn’t like those extra hot games. He usually doesn’t last as long in the hotter games.

You don’t think it’s completely bullshite that Tennessee Arkansas and lsu all in same side of bracket. They spread those theee around we are playing Tennessee or arkansas rn

frick off with this laziness. All it takes is a couple of off days and running into a hot team and ANYONE can lose. We lost at home to what is realistically by every measure a well below average LR team. We’ve also seen smaller teams come into the Box and beat not just good, but GREAT teams that had real title potential.
Texas lost to a UTSA team that wasn’t competitive in Omaha. Ole Miss, GA Tech and Duke lost to a Murray St team that wasn’t competitive at all in Omaha. Vandy almost lost and then flamed out in Game 2 against a Wright State that never had a real chance to escape that regional.
This shite happens. It just happened to a lot of SEC teams at one time. It also happened to several ACC teams, notably UNC, Clemson and FSU, as well. Add in the fact that Arkansas and UT were put against each other in the Supers and all 3 of us were on the same side of the bracket, and you had fewer SEC teams at the end of this thing BY DESIGN.
If us and UT/Arky had been on opposite sides of the bracket, we would be playing each other for a title starting tomorrow.

Throw all that out. I’m glad they have this streak. Adds pressure on them.
They could have a losing record, doesn’t matter. They earned their way to the championship. I don’t imagine the players and coaches are overlooking them.

My biggest concern w Coastal is Bodine’s apparently magical framing ability (haven’t watched them but I hear so much about this) combined w Jeff Head calling balls and strikes. I’m guessing he only does one game of the series but every game in a 3 game series is precious. Whichever game that is LSU can’t take anything at all that’s close.
But I also have faith in JJ that he knows this and will adjust accordingly.
