Unfortunately, I saw them all rolled by the hall of fame. So, I think they many be about to go up.

Never mind the ones I saw must have been the old ones because they were in color.

How do we have this thread every year? LSU is probably getting $10k+ per wall add. They’re not just going to say no thanks to that. Not to mention the greatest baseball stadiums in the history of the sport were/are covered in signage. But for some reason a portion of this fan base thinks LSU is trashing up the Box with ads and have been crying about it for decades.

I don’t mind ads. I mind when the ads look like like a little league field. There’s a way to make money and make it still look like the greatest program in college baseball history plays here.

I personally liked all the ads on the outfield wall. Felt nostalgic.

how did they put a bullpen under the bleachers?

They built the mound under the bleachers and hung two construction lights. It screams Single A baseball.

I know we are in the minority but I agree. Also was a brand thing and unique IMO. You knew immediately it’s The Box when you see all the ads. Now we will just like every other stadium.

get rid of the purple and gold chairs in the grandstand.

Nope

If I had my way, the walls would be purple.

Thanks for the photos. The ads in different colors on the outfield walls and other places are almost as old as the game of baseball itself.

There likely are fans of the Astros and Braves complaining about ads in The Box, but those two teams make LSU look awfully tame when it comes to multicolored ads. Same with the Dodgers, Yankees, etc.

It's odd that fans don't complain about all those major league stadiums looking trashy.

Why in the hell are we still rocking a net batters eye man... Build a dang wall batters eye and put the camera booth inside of it...The net batters eye with the metal camera stand is cringe

I wonder if those same people would be willing to pay ticket prices that are higher by several fold in order to offset the losses in ad revenue that would be realized in order to placate their sensibilities.

Did they also extended the netting further down the foul lines?? Looks that way at the end of the video.. Not a fan of this.

Now we just need to get rid of the bleachers. Looks cheap!

Many other issues needing to be addressed before outfield bleachers.

Batter's Eye
Grandstand Chair Backs
Add in PVC pipe to exterior facade
Berm in the outfield (ain't happening)
Outfield Chairbacks

Doubt it, unfortunately. I was in the outfield last year and the walls were beat to shite.

So let’s say there were 25 wall ads last year at $10,000 each = $250,000.
The box capacity is 10,300. Let’s say there are 9,000 season tickets and 300 for visitors and 1,000 for students.
If you raised season tickets $26.88 each then you recoup the ad revenue and have the solid green fence no ads
