If we lose to Arkansas we could end up anywhere.

Going 11-1 pretty much locks LSU into a BCS bowl no matter what anyone's trying to say.

If we lose to Arky, I hope we end up in the Cotton.

LSU could sell out Jerry World. Only problem is that we start the season there next year.

That's what I've been thinking unless its the Sugar. If we win out and Auburn wins out and goes to the Title game and LSU is in the BCS final 4, we automatically get a BCS Bowl. We'd be eligible in the top 12.

If Auburn loses to South Carolina we're screwed. Cotton won't want us because of the Oregon game (maybe) and Cap One won't want a repeat. We won't want Atlanta/Chik-Fil-A.

for Chirst's sake. 11-1 does not guarantee a BCS bowl if AU loses to USCe. We WILL NOT be in one more than likely if AU beats bama and loses to USCe

almost but not quite

If Auburn beats bama and loses to USC then... USC goes to the Sugar and it would be between Auburn and LSU for who was ranked higher in the top 4 of the BCS for an auto bid

What?

At 10-2 we could end up in the Gator, the Liberty, or Music City Bowls?

Auburn in Title Game
Alabama to Cap One
Arkansas to Cotton

Cap One, Cotton, Outback, Peach, Gator... you know what I meant big guy.

This year is basically a 2005 season from LSU's standpoint.

The problem is if we aren't in the BCS, all of the usual bowl options have caveats. We were just in Atlanta, so Peach isn't attractive. Cap One would be a repeat team, which they would try to avoid, and Dallas would be a trip we're doing again in nine months.

Obviously from a "standings" POV Cap One or Cotton should be as low as we fall, but since money comes into play here, that won't definately be the case.

that would kinda suck. I know they just got a tie in with the SEC but I'd rather the Cotton or Capital One if we cant go BCS

I would rather play a Big 10 team than a Big 12 team (Cotton) or ACC team (Peach).

So, if we can't go BCS, I would prefer the Cap One, Outback, or Gator (yes, I said it) over the aforementioned bowls.

No way... If AU loses to USCe then they will drop below us and we'll be selected over them.

Sorry, but that's not a lock to happen. Remember back in 2003 when Oklahoma got drilled in the Big 12 title game and fell all the way from #1 to #3? If Auburn loses say 35-31 to USC in a great game, I could easily see them falling to just #4 in the human polls, which wouldn't be far enough for us to jump them in the BCS.
