True, but only if they beat Bama.

I believe we will be in the BCS if we win out and here is why - I think Auburn will finish 2-0 or 0-2. If they beat Bama in two weeks, I cannot imagine them slipping up with a NC on the line to USCe. However, if they lose to Bama, which I think they will, I believe they will be so dejected and deflated that USCe will upset them in the SEC CG. Either way, LSU is in the BCS.

Rose Bowl lock, I already bought my tickets.

Rose Bowl = Big10 champion vs. Pac-10 champion unless Big10 or Pac-10 Champ goes to the NCG (Oregon)

If S. Carolina beats an undefeated AU we, LSU, will not be in the Sugar Bowl. I forsee it could be either be:

#1 AU @ Rose Bowl

Capital One Bowl (SEC No. 2 vs. Big Ten No. 2) LSU vs. Wisconsin

or

#2 AU @ Capital One Bowl

Cotton Bowl (Big 12 #2 vs. SEC) Mizzou/Texas A&M vs LSU

(Auburn will more than likely get a BCS berth @ the Rose Bowl if they lose the SECCG but could still get the Capital One Bowl, I think option 1 happens if they lose out)

LSU only makes the Sugar Bowl if AU wins out.

**The champion of a BCS conference[4] (ACC, Big 12, Big East, Big Ten, Pac-10, and SEC) is guaranteed an automatic BCS bowl bid.**

Why is everyone leaving the sugar bowl off the list for SEC teams?

**THIS IS ONLY IF A 1 LOSS SEC TEAM DOES NOT GET THE NCG**

S. Carolina gets the Sugar Bowl if they win the SECCG.

AU gets the Sugar Bowl if they loose to Bama and win the SECCG.

LSU gets the Sugar Bowl if we win out & AU wins out.

I think this was a joke due to WAFB and others saying LSU was in the Rose Bowl after the 2006 season in some similar situation.

At this point in the season last year, LSU was a lock for the Rose Bowl as much as Oregon is a lock for the NC this year. It took a monumental upset of USC by UCLA for LSU to not get invited. If USC wins that game, LSU is going to Pasadena.

Sorry, but that's not a lock to happen. Remember back in 2003 when Oklahoma got drilled in the Big 12 title game and fell all the way from #1 to #3?

Oklahoma has a much higher number of votes in the human polls in 2003 than Auburn currently does.

And the either LSU or AU would get an at large bid. If LSU wins out, it would probably be LSU.

The voters will say Auburn beat LSU and will vote them ahead of LSU if they finish the season with 1 close loss.

IMO I don't think we would get the at Large Bid over a one loss AU because we lost to AU. Each Division is only allowed two teams in the BCS (I think?)

Yes, which puts us in the Rose Bowl becuase of Oregon moving out. (Rose Bowl will get 1st at large pic due to Ore being #1 in NCG)

I know our most likely spot for a BCS is the Sugar, but I'd really like the Rose Bowl.

The Cotton would be nice, should we lose to Arkansas.

The Bowls are all about money. I don't see Auburn finishing in the Top Four of the BCS of they lose and Oregon, Boise, and TCU hold serve, which means the Bowls can take whoever they want as the SEC at-large.

If Newton gets declared ineligible, I'll almost guarantee that AU won't get picked.

Actually, the Rose Bowl loses Oregon, then I think they are required to take either TCU or Boise under a new rule.

Simple as this! Auburn goes to BCSCG, that leaves the sugar bowl open for LSU, Ark,USC. We beat Ole Miss, that eliminates USC. Arkansas loses to Moo U, then LSU looks to be all but a lock to get to the Sugar. Arkansas beats Moo U, then our game with them decides who goes to the Sugar.

Now if Auburn loses to Bama,, then the winner of the SECCG goes to the Sugar and the result of the Arky game next week determains where we will fall.

But if we beat Ole Miss, you can pretty much eliminate the Gator Bowl.
