Yup, I was there, it was my first time having Season tickets, had a big group of us. Had them up until Covid

It was one of the most emotional, crazy experiences of my life

Sure did. Was a sophomore at LSU at the time. Skipped every single class that day, met up with my dad and got down to Nola at around 10am.

We spent the day walking through the quarter, ate lunch at Serios and had an awesome time. Still to this day, easily one of the best Saints games I've ever been to. Only one that could compare was the 09 NFC Champ game vs. the Vikings.

The thing I remember to this day the most is when Gleason blocked the punt, we were sitting in Section 505 and I remember feeling the ground literally shaking and looked at my dad joking that the dome was going to collapse.

I sure did and will be in the same seats tonight. It was a wild scene downtown pretty much through the entire day. I was at work but we were only about three blocks away so you could not miss the feel of it. I can’t remember what we did pregame, but I remember getting in the Dome early. The place was already buzzing and then Gleason and then DeLoach, which remains the greatest single moment I have ever experienced at a live sporting event.

I did. Was fairly cheap compared to today's prices from what I remembered. I think I paid $230 for lower endzone. 2 tickets

I was there. Same deal first time having season tickets. Terrace all the way at the top. We snuck in a fifth of whiskey and walked up to the top and got cokes to make cocktails. My buddy suggested we go into the men’s room to mix the drinks. I looked around and said no man let’s just do it right here. We got rolled up by security as we are making the drinks and the officer, nice lady, asked “how did you get that in here?”
“Well, to be honest, we snuck it in”
She then said, and I swear to god..
“Well, if you got it in here, you might as well enjoy it!”
We made the drinks and bolted to our seats.
I knew we were going to win right then and there. The feeling of invincibility was real.

Was there.
My boss got myself and another manager tickets for the game as a gift.
As soon as we walked into the dome it was a great feeling. No one was in a bad mood. As soon as Green Day started shouting "the saints are coming" absolutely no one sat down. Then , when we thought we couldn't get more jacked up the blocked punt happens. I thought the dome was going to fall apart from the noise.
Again, no one sat the entire game in my section.
Was awesome. Still get goosebumps thinking about it.
Funny enough, I dont remember too much after the game. Too much dome foam.

Yep. Got there early enough to see the Goo Goo Dolls outside the Dome. Environment was insane. When Green Day and U2 started busting out "The Saints are coming," everyone felt like running on the field. God bless Gleason and the boys.

I have a question and I am not being sarcastic or being a jerk. Honest question.

Is the 20 year anniversary of the reopening of the dome that big a thing?

I understand the devastation of the storm and that it was a big deal then. It feels a bit media driven to me. But that’s why I’m asking.

Was there. Almost got ran over by Brees driving his jeep into the Dome. Was walking with my buddy behind the Dome about 75 min before kickoff and saw this jeep racing down the street, and we got out the way bc he was driving with a high rate of speed. He passed us and we locked eyes…and I said “holy shite thats Brees”. He got his jeep stuck in the Dome entrance as well. After the game, I heard the story of him getting lost on way to Dome…lol

I was there. Section 119. Blocked punt was right in front of us. Loudest moment I’ve ever heard in any stadium ever.

I wasn’t there, but my folks were. they left me at a watch party at a family friends close by on way to game. Watching that game was the moment I fell in love with the Saints. Don’t know how integrated they were into the city prior to that season but they became unanimous with the city during that game and it lasted up until the Brees-Payton era was over. Since the no call, then covid era sure seems to me like that connection has died off some. More to do with the realization the NFL is a complete joke of a league though then fault of the Saints organization

I still get full body goosebumps every time I watch that... Or the blocked punt and emotional reaction from crowd.

Grew up in New Orleans and a Saints fan and never had season tickets. My buddy (high school friend/college room mate at the time) and I wanted to go and we wound up just getting season tickets in 643. I remember him yelling "Stewie" to Stuart Scott in the pregame and getting acknowledged. This game and the NFC Championship Game will always be some of my top sports memories. Still have season tickets.

friend of mine had season tickets and invited me, had lunch at parkway bakery and tavern in midcity then headed to the dome. Remember there was such an energy outside the dome. Last saints game i attended. That friend has since passed away. Nice memory.

As I get older, the symbolism grows on me. So many memories were made through Saints football, and this surely was one of the bigger ones. I think of all the people & friends we have met or gone to games with, and how much life & relationships have changed over 20 years.

As far as football goes, This does kind of feel like a funeral for the golden years. Or at least we will put a bow on it tonight.

I think between the no-call & ownership/management, pieces of our fandom have been chipped. The celebration will make a lot of people feel good & come back together.

I was there.
And I am here this time.
Getting my game face on at the bar at Domenica.

And I was there for John Gillium and TomDempsey and the Superbowl.

I was there. Sec 326. I remember celebrating the third down stop where we almost scoop and scored and turning back around just in time to see Gleason block the punt. The play was already underway but I remember just turning around right as he jumped in the air to block it. There were a lot of people that did miss it and only turned around after the roar. I remember a lots of "what happened?" before the replay got shown. As awesome a moment as it was, I imagine it could have been even louder if everyone was paying attention.
Rest of the game is a blur, don't remember much

Yep I was there. I finally bought season tickets. I was 22 years old. It was an incredible experience. After all everyone had gone thru the previous year. There was no way the Saints were losing that game and you could feel the emotion in the Dome.

I was there in 618. Loudest pop I’ve been apart of when Gleason blocked the punt. I vividly remember the sound, the energy, and things flying all over the dome. Even the 09 NFC championship is a notch below it for me in terms of the outpouring of emotion.

Incredible night that I feel very fortunate to be apart of.
