I didn't know Grant Taylor was eligible for the draft in 2023, but wow this is high. LSU is going to be everyone's preseason #1:

1. Dylan Crews
10. Paul Skenes
15. Grant Taylor
44. Ty Floyd
47. Tre Morgan
67. Christian Little

Crews should be higher.

Seriously, that is really incredible having that many top prospects on one team. Like every year, it will depend on pitching. Can't wait!

If these guys live up to these lofty numbers (especially Taylor)...this team could be damn tough.

Taylor was hitting 98 I saw this fall.

Floyd was the most dominant pitcher this fall, and it wasn't even close really. Really impressive fall for him.

if he could ever develop a solid off speed pitch the sky is the limit for him.

Legitimate question, is this the best collection of baseball talent ever on LSU's campus? I note 09 ended up having 2 first rounders and a sandwich pick on the roster in addition to a handful of round 2-10 type players. This group could see 7-10 first rounders it seems.

I just don't see DC being the #1 pick from past performance. Hope he and the rest of the Tigers have a world series season.

I agree. the 09 pitching staff outside of Ranaudo/Coleman/Ott/Jones were all veterans who could do one thing well and or playing above their potential.

The 23 team is going to have the most aggregate talent on one roster since Skip retired.

Curious where Tommy Tanks projects once he’s eligible.

Yea, why would a 5 tool college center fielder that has a career slash line of .356/.458/.677 with 40 homers and high character type guy go 1 overall.

Not saying he will be the #1 for sure but to say you don't see it from past performance is kind of dumb.

DC is legitimately a AAA player right now and will have a very short path to the big league level

He's got two more years so it's hard to project but picks 15-20 is his floor right now. I still think he moves to 1B once Morgan goes pro.

Before I even 'looked' I would have been surprised if Dylan wasn't #1.

Care to explain to us what type of performance you are looking for in a top MLB pick?

You must not have followed any fall baseball reports. All the potential starters were working on developing off speed pitches with Floyd being possibly the most successful of the bunch.
