I was very upset last night, but we need to see the big picture here. It was one game in year one. We know Lane is a good coach. But, if the fanbase turns on him now, this early, it could cause the whole thing to come off the rails, which is what the SEC wants, what other fanbases want, what other coaches want, what the media wants.

I said when the whole thing happened with the SEC that we better win games by 2 TDs or the SEC refs would cheat us every time in a close game. I’m not saying we got outright cheated, but there were a lot of questionable calls and no calls. We played the villain, so we have to back it up, but part of that means that fans need to be loyal.

The play calling last night on the 4th and 1 was a bad sign. Lane might be feeling too much pressure. We need to rally and calm down and let him build this program.

Zero sympathy for players and coaches getting paid more than anyone who doesn’t own a (*publicly traded) business, just to go 7-5 again & get fricking outcoached by Pete Golding and Will Stein.

They have earned all of the scrutiny.

Last night was an embarrassment and a program loss.

I'm sure Lane is totally concerned that I called him a ball-less dumb frick to my TV last night.

We are paying the guy $13 million+. When you accept a contract with that much money then get $50 million in NIL you know what the expectations are.

I sent him a nice pair of candlesticks.

Maybe less time texting 19 year old coeds, yes there are receipts already.

You do realize that majority of the people who post here give $0 to the program and just gripe? Thinking that 50 people from a message board who are bashing him is the fan base is pretty clueless.

I can think of 91 million rea$ons he should be able to handle whatever pressure is put on him by whoever puts it on him.

Lane had to deal with Saban. He's tough enough to handle LSU. My biggest concern is with success will come big offers from CFB and the NFL.

Too much pressure? From a game against Kentucky? Boo Hoo! If he had done a better job no one would be upset. Every HC at LSU since Saban has been fired for losing games like last night. Certainly LK knew there would be pressure to win. If not, then he didn’t do any due diligence or pay attention at all over the last 20 years.

If fans can make him crack then he’s not the guy.

Also he’s coaching like he’s scared of the job. Ole Miss LK goes for it in 4th and 1 to seal the game.

frick all that! That is why he is paid what he is paid . The main fury isn’t with Kiffin anyway. He made a couple of mistakes with burning timeouts and not being aggressive on the final drive but the hate and justified anger is towards Baker! Unless Kiffin is forcing Bakers hands on calls during the game then this is 100% on Baker ! He called a horrible first half in both losses and then calls absolutely ridiculous schemes and zone late in the game last night. I’m done with Baker personally. That guy isn’t worth a shite as a coach.

Lane is looking stressed af on the sideline

This job and the pressure may be too big for him

There is no excuse for losing that game and he knows it

Awkward is the word here. He is an emotional coach. You can see when we make a great play or a TD. He’s not great at hiding his emotions. Saban had been working with him to keep it calmer during games so his players don’t get too amped up. It looks awkward because it’s not normal for him. He makes it work tho.

Most on this forum haven't put in shite. If the CFP put the trophy up for direct purchase would you want to simply buy it. No, we want to watch our team play for it and build into a juggernaut. The coaches and players are human and mistakes will be made and it will be so satisfying when the trophy is lifted. I believe it will be sooner than later.
