Angel needs a degree.

She needs a fitness coach or a coach to teach her how to run. When you see her running back fown the court... it's like she is STRUGGLING and like it hurts to run.

She said is directly on her social media during her live talking about LSU/School/Post Grad life. She said she loved LSU, the school culture. Was excited to eventually move on from school aspect and concentrate on life after it in basketball/modeling/other goals. That is not an unusual take for any athlete. Being committed to sports and school is a lot for all of them to balance, as well as commitments beyond that. I'm not sure what you are trying to imply. She graduates in May.

I stand corrected, my apologies. Just a little hyper sensitive due to people ragging on her in the past.

My bad it wasn’t my intention.

Reese seems to be working hard on and off the court. I’d love to have her back for a 5th year but if she doesn’t it was good to have her first at least two years. She helped mulkey bring home a national title and helped grow the program in such a short period

Because she won’t make a WNBA roster. She’s not good enough.

HVL is the hardest to figure out. She doesn't give many interviews or live stream/social media chats.

When Hailey has been one of the players participating in post game media interviews she has been very impressive. She responds very articulately with insight and sees the game through a coach's eye. She may have a bright future in coaching.

McKayla Williams is also very poised for a freshman and her responses are insightful. She responds in a very mature manner for a young player. Angel is also a good interview but she generally just lets it rip and her big personality is always on display. The media have gotten adept at setting her up with loaded questions.

The WNBA isn't worth Angel's time. I bet she's done with basketball after LSU

I agree, actually think her quitting basketball all together and getting into something else is the highest possibility. There are zero stars in the WNBA because no one cares.

They are making a lot more money at LSU than they will in the WNBA. I do not see Van Lith making an impact at the next level. Reese needs to continue to work on her outside shot. She will not dominate under the goal at the professional level.

The NIL opportunities for female atheletes = stay in school as long as you have eligibility. If Livvy is still in school, Angel and Hailey will stay if they still wanna play ball. School isn't stopping them.

All of these are false.............

They are NOT making more money at LSU than they will as pros. I really wish y'all would stop saying this foolishness.

Angel's skill set rebounding and on defense translate VERY well to the pro game.

Hailey may not necessarily be a star, but she could definitely make an impact with more work

You didn't know Angel is looking to get a degree in Accounting?

I don't know what she's majoring in but she didn't grow up in the hood. She went to an expensive Catholic School.

The first thing you said is patently false. The highest paid players in the league make less than $250,000/y.
The second two are 50/50 at best. The WNBA is small. There aren’t many teams and there are a shite ton of 6’3” women that can rebound. There are also a ton of 5’7” women that can move better laterally than HVL and shoot just was well.

It’s not crazy to say their best options may be to play college as long as possible, take advantage of NIL to brand build, then quit bb altogether.

Breanna Stewart is one of the best players in the whole WNBA. If I had to gues Angel probably tripled her income last year. And that’s including whatever endorsements Stewart gets. And she’s a POY candidate.

She will have more income going pro for sure but the perks of being a full scholarships athlete at major programs with paid housing, nutrition, etc has its value too

But as far as the W, her offensive game will determine her success at the next level. The W is an offensively driven league.

Anyways I imagine Kim is planning next year like both Reese and HVL are gonna be gone. Kim will likely take in at least four transfers to replace production lost but to also build a better bench. We only signed one recruit who likely isn't gonna play much for a couple years at least. Unless its a top 30-40 recruit for WBB, most of those lower ranked ones really need a couple years at least to develop

The average wnba salary is $72K. It's why wnba pros go overseas and play in international leagues in the offseason to supplement their income, provided they don't get arrested for entering a foreign country with illegal weed.

A lot of great college players get cut before the season ever even starts. WNBA is full of players that stay around forever and there just isn’t much room to force out 5-10-year professionals on the hopes the new unknown commodity is better. That’s why so many sure-things end up in Europe.

NIL deals may transfer to the WNBA, but they won’t follow you to Italy.

Oh my god, I can tell many of you literally do NOT follow the WNBA even remotely.

College kids DO NOT EARN SALARIES. So, that point alone makes it impossible to "earn" more money in college. What Angel, Flau'je and Hailey have are NIL deals which are ENDORSEMENT DEALS, they are not SALARIES. Guess what...................WNBA players also have endorsements. The player you named, Breanna Stewart earns a WNBA salary around $250K, an overseas team salary of $1.5 million, and currently has an endorsement deal with Puma with undisclosed terms. However, her current net worth is at $10million, which is almost EIGHT TIMES more than what Angel is earning in college.

So, again, for stars like Angel, and the like, it makes NO SENSE to play one more year in college and put off making REAL money.
