So now 100 miles is far for a pipeline? What source of energy do you think power ever single plant/refinery/foundry in Louisiana?
2020 showed exactly what happens. When Biolab went offline from Hurricane Laura, chlorine prices skyrocketed, US utilities increased drastically due to the higher cost to sanitize municipal water and residential pool chlorine prices hit peak pricing.
What is your end goal to this? To keep slandering Louisiana and keep pretending like it’s not an industrial mecca that supplies energy for the entire globe while also having the most influential port with access to connecting tributaries to offload industrial resources to all other major metros?

Hey guys, not that it has anything to do with the relevance of LSU, just giving correct data,... I live in Vermilion Parish and have relatives that live within eyesight of the Henry Gas Plant. That hub feeds 2/3's of the entire east coast with natural gas. Not saying anything political, just pointing out a fact. Carry On.

I know people just throw this out there, but this is true. Besides that, they changed the rules after the fact. This case, imo, has zero standing and if the SEC is smart it will be dismissed with quickness. LSU should, and I think will counter if they don't drop this, and LSU will win. Sankey made a fool of himself on the stand yesterday, contradicted himself, and literally didn't know the rules for 5 for 5, or so he said. He is a weak, liberal leader. I for one hope LSU goes scorched earth on the SEC if this isn't fixed asap.

have they said they were countersuing? I hope this is the case. This was absurd by Sankey and the SEC. Sankey is done in the SEC imo. Might not be right now, but within a year.

Had Liz done what Paxton did to the Big XII in the Sorsby situation, it would be a major issue. She didn't, so this argument doesn't work here.

LSU is supposed to make a formal statement this morning. I really don’t get what the SEC is doing. It doesn’t need a federal court to declare it can enforce its own rules. It is asking for a TRO to block LSU from rostering the players but to qualify for that TRO it would have to show it would suffer irreparable harm without it. I see no way they could show that - it has the power to sanction LSU for rules violations. So then why file? If I were LSU, I’d be looking to assert a RICO claim or defamation claim or both against the SEC and non-LSU members of the SEC for conspiring to damage the LSU brand through their actions. The timing of the federal suit is extremely suspect to me. And the commissioner’s testimony yesterday has had to cause some severe heartburn back at the office
