Sorry to hear that Meta. Unfortunately, it's the world we live in. True social skills are deteriorating in society b/c people are addicted to their phones and texting and social media. It's sad, esp. looking at today's youth.

If LSU only loses once between now and selection Sunday they should be a 2-seed.

That would mean we either fell to Florida but won SECT, or that we won the SEC reg. season title but slipped in SECT. Either way an SEC Champ and a record near 29-6 should be plenty of resumè.

To not award us a 2-seed in that scenario would be criminal.

I think 3 seed, but am more interested in how strong their bracket will be.

@Florida will still be tough. They’re playing great right now, so even with the revenge motivation on our side it’s not going to be a gimme

agreed. I think we stumble at UF. It shouldn’t be a big deal, but watch- if we fall to the Gators, and lose any game in the SECT short of the final we’ll be punished with a 4 seed. All this talk of 1 seed and even 2 seed, is a pipe dream. Not happening. I’m not saying we don’t deserve it, but LSU has a history of getting screwed when it comes to rankings and seedlings.

I think we have no shot at a 1 and a just a 20 percent chance for a 2. We are likely a 3 seed and that is fine by me

Just imagine if you were talking about football. We beat Alabama twice. Win the SEC West, win the SEC championship game, and still have Bama and Georgia ranked ahead of us.

This is no different. It would be a travesty if we win out and don’t end up the highest seeded SEC team

I believe my ex-wife and your ex-wife were related. It's the byproduct of the modern feminist movement. The old "I pay the bills" thing doesn't seem to matter to many since our society incentivizes single mothers.

If LSU wins out then a blind resume would likely be superior to not only UT and UK, but to any other team battling for the last #1 seed slot.

Right now I wanna get by UF and secure that SEC title. That would be a great accomplishment.

Maybe so. I might have taken it wrong...but it sounded like ncaa

Just saw the show and they were definitely talking about the NCAA tourney. They said "LSU fighting for a one seed while Bama is just trying to get into the tournament." They wouldn't have said it that way if it was the SEC tourney.

This is bad news. Makes the LSU game almost a must win for UF. That is a hideous loss for them.

If we win the SEC outright then I expect to get a 1 seed.. In the bracketology this morning, before the game, we were projected as a 4th seed. With worried me, because I think we are a barely 2 seed, more likely 3 seed. But the CBB elitist will give a almost as good as LSU "blue blood" team a higher seed just bc that's what happens.

I think LSU is viewed as the possible 'Cinderella' team this year; and they are loathe to give us a high seed because of our unpredictable performance against lesser Teams. Wade said as much re "losing the games we should win".

Time will tell. Hell, sometimes I'd rather see them staying active and being tested as opposed to sitting on byes, while other Teams gain confidence in wins.

Good year any way you cut it.

Most 1 seeds blowout teams they should. We have had tons of OT games and not many blowouts since the start of SEC play. We still should get more credit for our road record though.

UF losing to UGA Sat will ensure that UF plays its best game versus us Wed night. Their backs are against the wall for NCAA Ty purposes. They HAVE to beat us and they already have in BR.

Wed night should really be a tough test for us.

With how difficult it has been for LSU to get due recognition, I wonder if the committee has similar bias.
please stop with the conspiracy theories. The March Madness Committee is a group of different people from different areas of the country that look DEEP at many factors and metrics. It's not just one dude setting all the seeds, where bias could be a factor.

With the way to committee is structured and the way metrics play a big role, it would be very difficult for bias to truly affect seeds in the NCAA tourney.

If we get knocked down a bit, it would be due to the OOC losses early in the year. The FSU, Okla State, and Houston losses hurt. We really don't have any other OOC wins that are overly impressive. Now, we have huge wins in the SEC, so hopefully that will overcome the OOC losses, but the OOC losses exist and the committee will have to include that in their evaluation.

Regardless, we should get a high seed and have a good shot at the Sweet 16, at least.

I hear you, but the March Madness committee doesn't just look at winning the conference. They have a whole bunch of metrics and other factors they consider.

So yes, we've killed it in the SEC, and the UK and Tenn wins are huge and a regular-season SEC championship is huge too. The committee will consider all of that.

But we also have no great OOC win, and OOC losses to FSU, Okla St, and Houston.

UK beat UNC and Kansas in OOC. Tennessee beat Gonzaga.

I'm just saying there's alot of factors that are considered.
