Texas Tech has already added Tommy Castellanos to their roster as well

This guy didn't sign a contract, right?

He did in college so I don’t really get why it is a sticking point for NFL guys

As stupid as it is this guy is technically eligible since he never signed a contract or declared for the draft - since he was a senior he didn't have to declare and in turn didn't have to withdraw.

This plus the new SEC rules added a layer about “not properly withdrawing from the draft” - so even by their own standards he wouldn’t be eligible

Anyone thinking just because he didn't sign an official contract is the reason other teams aren't getting the outrage are being dishonest.

Absolutely, I was about to bring that point up. I assume since minimum wage laws are still in effect in this country, he WAS PAID something. That in and of itself makes him a professional unless that was a charity flag football event. The SEC has some of the posters here falling for the old magician's trick of "hey, look over there and don't watch what I'm doing here." The SEC makes a big deal out of the draft and roster status but he IS getting paid by the Dallas Cowboys. That IS the point.

you just aren't going to stop are you. Every thread you are pushing that LSU is doing something wrong....you can't even identify what they have done illegally, but you are that much of a simp.

Ole boy is an embarrassment to the Domingue name. That's good people. He must be the runt of the litter.

Bro he had to have signed something. An NFL team isn’t just going to let you run around and practice with the team in their uniform without having signed SOMETHING.

I have expressed concern for possible negative outcomes. And why are you stalking me?

apple and orange
spring camp invite where he's not paid no contract. You guys are saying its the exact same as a guy who is making six figures and playing in NFL preseason games.

I'm not saying it SHOULD make a difference.
I was just trying to understand if there was one. It appears this guy wasn't drafted and didn't sign a contract. He did attend tryouts / preseason camps.
It's closer to the ND guy than Harris or Wright situation.
