This post was made about AE over and over again first couple months of last year. Give the kid time to settle in. He’ll be fine.

This team is going to put up a lot of football scores on Sundays this season. I can’t fu$$ing wait.

He definitely has some maturing to do mentally. If he can get there he’ll be a hell of a pitcher.
I vote we go straight to 99 mph tomorrow!
Think I like me some Dathe.
That was highly entertaining... thanks for sharing!
Being able to run the ball next year is going to be so satisfying.
Let the guy finish what he was asked to step in and do under shite circumstances. It’s not going to hurt LSU. If anything taking the high road helps. The guys has done a lot for LSU. That’s over for the moment but let him go out on good terms.

Fan Duel Already Has Games Up

Miami left out. (Or not… don’t trust FanDuel apparently). I’ll go ahead and down vote myself!
If he leaves for the NFL because he’s successful here who cares. We’ve now stolen the head coach of Notre Dame and the head coach of an in conference rival having their best season in history right before a home playoff game. If nothing else LSU has proven they can go after and land highly coveted coaches.
Narrative is already changing. Last week on game day it was “he should stay”, “why leave a playoff team” and this morning it was shockingly logical. More around recruiting advantages at LSU, “calendar is a bad situation for everyone”, “Ole Miss should let Lane finish the season”, etc.

Yep, he had a big falling out with OU. That’s probably not happening.
You can tell from his interview with MM he’s already back peddling and regretting his dumb arse decisions.

You mean the interview where he repeatedly referenced making to Bowl Championship Series? Name one other state/university where this is normal. It’s not and maybe it doesn’t matter in the end… I certainly hope it doesn’t. But to pretend like there’s no chance it hurts with the coaching search or that it in any way isn’t a cluster frick is naive.
