I literally don’t know anyone or heard anyone not pick them to come out of that side of the bracket. We all knew they’d beat Auburn in the supers because Auburn wasn’t very good.

And after Monday, he’ll have the same energy that Vitello has right now….on the outside looking in.

Baseball has so many more teams and easier access to deep runs in the tournament for mid majors than the other big sports you always get some teams that clearly have no idea what it’s like to be big time. And they’ve even won before!

Feel like I’ve seen so many Mickey Mouse teams come to BR for regionals and just do stupid stuff like this. The dugout wave snd the coach with the chip on his shoulder. Give me a break. Put these chickens down.

Are you going to provide some facts to refute what he said or are you just going to be pissed that he’s confident in his team/program?

When dealing with the option of dealing with facts or just being pissed off, we tend to err on the side or irrational anger around these parts.

You think a team can be "one of the most premier, most successful college baseball programs in the entire country" with 4 total Super Regional appearances in their entire history?

It’s obvious he’s talking recently. So yea they are. This really isn’t that hard to understand but sadly I’m not surprised that some of you struggle with the most basic concepts.

They are playing for their second national title in 9 years

They aren’t a Cinderella.

That really was his only points, was to make sure his players went in thinking they belonged

I see nothing wrong with his comment, I feel like you're trying to use that quote to rile up the TR fans, as if we need extra motivation.

Why do so many baseball coaches seem like the douchiest of any major sport?

Do you consider these teams to be Cinderella teams in basketball:
Texas
Arizona
UCLA
Xavier
Wisconsin
Kentucky
Purdue
OSU
Syracuse

except they have. They’ve been to 20 regionals since 2000, LSU has been to 21 regionals in the sam time frame.

Figured that stat would catch some people crapping on them off guard. Their 1st year HC played there in the late 90s and has been an assistant there almost the entire time since then during that run. Talk about loyal to a program. He may be the real deal as is their program.
