What's going on with Coach O? Seems like there is something to him not being around last few practices and scrimmage.

He was sick so they sent him home. Do you read this page much?

I’m hoping to hear something about this too. This is now 4 straight days he hasn’t been seen. He also wasn’t at the scrimmage Saturday which I find to be pretty notable.

The one thing I keep thinking about is some of those pictures that we’re going around from earlier in camp and he looked extremely unhealthy. Hopefully he’s ok, but there seems to be something going on that’s more than “he wasn’t feeling well” per LK.

Meh he's a 65 year old man who's sick and was trying to coach in the middle of a heat wave.

Scarborough said in his practice report with Buddy that it was cardiovascular related but he should be fine

Scarborough kinda subtlety said it’s a “cardiovascular” deal in his post practice report last night. Kinda poo-poo-ed it, though, like it was no big deal. Maybe it’s something O’s been dealing with for a bit and is not super serious or surprising to some of the media.

But I did find Mike’s nonchalantness a bit weird. Everybody’s thinking stomach bug and you just casually NBD “cardiovascular deal” and keep it moving?

I feel like a 65 year old having a cardiovascular deal is not something to be taken lightly...? But maybe thats just my ignorance in the medical field.

Used to see him jogging (slowly) on campus around lunchtime. Saw him recently and he appeared to be struggling just to walk.

I hope Coach has regular cardiologist appointments getting stress tests and echocardiograms

I agree. That’s why I thought the way Mike said it was so weird. Nobody else seems ready to report it. I don’t think he was being insensitive, but it certainly could have been taken that way. Should have either expanded on it or not mentioned it at all.

A 65 year old who spent years in a high stress job slamming 12-15 red bulls a day.
