Based off the latest O press conference sounds like some BS to me.
How can you get Bradford cleared to play in a week but current RB on your roster has a course scheduling mix up? Also, Orgeron commented that he could come back but somethings need to happen and it’s out of his control but didn’t bring up any NCAA appeal. Weird.

I can't remember the last time a player missed an entire season for academics.
LSU really has a collection of idiots out there.
First compliance costs you your best offensive linemen, now academic advising costs you your best RB (my opinion).
LSU wants to be elite, and sometimes is, but I swear they have the most amateur issues at times. It has been like this forever out there.

He is out for the year for cheating. The wrong class narrative is bogus and frankly insulting to the intelligence of fans that they think we would buy that as the reason.

Downvoted but you're right. The people saying this is the Academic advisors fault aren't totally wrong, they shouldn't have screwed up like that, but I can say with confidence that if you swapped Ed O with Kirby Smart and everything else stayed the same, Emery would be the starting RB right now. I know for a fact that both him and Saban are very involved in the academic side of all his players. Even the walk ons.

Why would the coaches put out the "took the wrong class" narrative if that were the case? Especially now since Ed is on thin ice. Makes them look even worse.
