Les ended his career in disgrace and rightfully so. Appreciate what he did while at LSU, but he, just like Dabo, let the game pass him by.

Talked to a Clemson dude last night and he said their University simply does not have the financial wherewithal to field a top 10 program in this era.

I don’t know that hiring an OC that last successfully called plays 11 years ago is being progressive.
He is a lot like Miles, Clemson still has talent. The program has gotten stale, it’s been slow to react and adapt and he went to comfort hire instead of innovation

I very much can imagine, or rather Remember. Miles' last year after the opening game with Wisconsin. We were told there would be changes all off-season. Then we got the same thing as the previous year.

Also, I learned a long time a ago in lifeguarding training the a drowning man will latch on to ANYTHING at the end, even if that's you when you're trying try save his life
Dabo realized the rip current dragged him way out into the surf and grabbed onto the nearest things that looked like it would keep him afloat (a retread OC).
Difference is Les wouldn't even acknowledge he was drowning and would ignore lifesaving attempts because he's "just fine and has faith in his decisions".
And just like that, BLOOP, he slips below the waves for the last time.
Don't get me wrong ,though: I really like Les and appreciate what he did for LSU after Saban bolted. That doesn't change the reality that he buried himself at the end and needed to go.

Is Clemson really that bad, or are we that good, because if we're that good , or better , buckle up. To be frank, the ACC as a whole, is utterly average
