Clay doesn’t even have connects at Tennessee, as he botched every rumor during their coaching search. What makes people think he knows wats going on here

What about this Les Miles guy I heard about a few years back. Has SEC experience, great record, won a Natty. We should at least give him an interview...assuming he would be interested

But, how often does the DC get the job when the HC is fired?

How often do you hire the DL coach as HC after he’s fired?? How often do you hire the TE coach as OC once he’s let go??

I understand most tiger fans don't feel this way. But change is hard. Changing the culture of the offense is hard after Miles. And I don't think most fans get how difficult that is.

The offense already wasted a year of culture change that was scrapped quickly. Now we're attempting to change it again. I don't believe Orgeron deserves a mulligan for that, especially when he ultimately settled for another coach already on staff.

Honestly, I'd probably have your patience if we weren't sold the "best coordinator in the country" line and Orgeron had just promoted Ensminger from the beginning. It would not have been popular, but at least it would look like Orgeron had some kind of vision for what he wanted to do.

Dave Aranda should be the next LSU head coach barring someone like Saban, Harbaugh, Meyer becoming available

A historically sounds wrong to me and gives me a headache.

Same as a hour doesn't sound correct either.

As long as Alleva is the AD Ogeron has a pretty long leash. HE is Alleva's guy and firing him after two seasons would me Alleva admitting he made a huge mistake. That's just not going to happen. But....

...if LSU brings in a new AD then all bets are off

You do realize he went 9-4 last year, right? If not accepting mediocrity with false optimism (hope and pray, right?) makes makes me a clown, pardon me while I start juggling.

Time for him to put up or shut up, cause im tired of hearing his bullshite at the podium

Ignorant article.

If and when Orgeron is canned, Alleva will be too.

A new AD will be making the hire and I guarantee it won’t be any of those three.

I’d be all but certain the next HC at LSU has a last name that rhymes with Miranda.

Historically starts with an H sound. H is a consonant. Hour starts with an O sound. O is a vowel. Don't overthink things.

League office wouldn't let us hire him as an analyst, you think they are gonna sign off as HC?

technically they can’t stop any hire. They may “frown upon it”, but they can’t stop it if they wanted to. Would take some bigger balls than Alleva has for sure.

I'm not a fan on any of those, but Kiffin will land a P5 job soon enough. I realize he's a turd personally, but he's a really good offensive coach, and I think he rehabilitated his image enough at Bama and now at FAU. One more great year there and he'll get a lot of interest from bigger schools.

I'd bet my house that Aranda isn't our next head coach.

After the O debacle, we're not going to follow that up with a guy that has ZERO head coaching experience at any level.

Our next head coach will be a guy with prior head coaching success.

I'd promote Aranda over any of those and then immediately focus on the OC search.

Of course, O and E may earn their jobs this year.
