Clay Travis is clueless so I'm glad this is his list.

It is true, you can not fix stupid.
That's why we're talking about it..........many believe he can't be fixed.

Honestly, an 8-4 year wouldn't be that bad for LSU.

I would add a former Big12 coaches name to that list

I’d take all three over what we have.

Freeze is done with CFB and will likely get the Jim Tressel treatment.

You are making a parallel where there is none re: Orgeron and Aranda.

Orgeron was a proven, disastrous loser who was sitting home on the couch and couldn't sniff a job as a coordinator. He's never run a unit before and obviously is far short of the moxie and brains needed to run an SEC program.

Making a successful OC or DC who has proven they can run a unit, coach players up, organize and administrate is not any more of a gamble than hiring a proven-winning head coach.

Sean McVay was a successful OC, both as a play caller, an administrator, and a leader.

He had never been a HC and is by far the youngest HC in the NFL.

He took over a franchise that was a dumpster fire.

How has THAT worked out?

Freeze is toxic , the ncaa would build an administrative building next to Tiger stadium if LSU hired him , Petrino isn’t much better but he just is not a fit at LSU !! Kiffen ? Only the people at FAU like Kiffen

One would think. Then again, one would never think someone with Orgeron's resume could get the LSU job. I guess this all depends on who is hiring the next HC at LSU.

It’s Kiffin. Show him some respect and at least spell his name correctly.

We missed out big time. What should have happened is Alleva and Miles both should have been fired after 2015. We should have hired Chris Del Conte from TCU and brought Gary Patterson with him.

Gary Patterson should still be your first call, but I don't know that we can get him away from TCU at this point. Regardless, you make him tell you no.

Not saying Aranda wouldnt be a great HC, because I have no idea, but McVay's personality and Aranda's are polar opposites.

Kiffen is not a likable person, not many people can stand to be around him for any length of time, not even his wife ! Alabama left him on the tarmac cause they couldn’t stand a long ride home with him ! And there are number of other instances

based on what exactly? Nothing has shown this to be true no matter how bad you want it

Based on the fact that we already fired a much better coach than Orgeron for having that very record.

actually kiffin is well liked by those that know him. chris low has told the story many times about how people in the Tennessee athletic department still swear by the guy.

and let's not act like a guy's wife leaving him is unheard of. especially in a profession like coaching.

Patterson has no reason to leave TCU for another CFB job.

Unless he wants to win a national championship. He's been there a long time though and I'm sure he's been contacted by bigger schools, so maybe he is happy where he is and has no desire to leave.
