And there is just no logical reason to be so tight lipped on injuries. Some sports make it mandatory to share that information, and though this isn't one of them, I don't know what the advantage is to not just say what's going on.
I get it with pitchers, and trying to make your opponents plan for multiple possible starters, but that logic doesn't hold up with hitters. You don't game plan around whether or not a certain hitter is going to be in the lineup.

There are concerns/deficiencies with this team that can and should be point out by fans. If you think fans are never going to criticize a coach of the school they are a fan of, I think you should probably change your expectations.

I'm not a JJ basher and this season’s story isn't written yet but he has far and away the first and second picks in the drafts. That will never happen here again. It's Omaha or bust for the ‘23 team. Falling short of that deserves criticism.
Valid excuse losing Taylor, Edwards, and Shores but the majority of the fanbase isn't going to allow that card to be played. Also that's the nature of college baseball these days so you better prepare for it.

My only concern is near the end of this postgame, jay mentioned he trusts dutton and we’ll need him either in an extended regional or omaha……..like what!?
I know we are limited with our options there, but if we are already past guys like ack, guidry, herring, hurd, and coleman, id still choose money or collins or cooper over dutton

Teams don’t just turn it on in the regionals. They get hot leading up to regions and keep it going. See MS State, Coastal Carolina, Ole Miss last year and many other examples of teams getting hot when the tournament starts.. This team is trending in the wrong direction at the worst time. You can be a posiTiger, and generally I am, too, but objectively, this team is very unlikely to make it to Omaha.
