I really don't care for Jay's attitude towards simple questions. He forgets that he can make the kind of money he makes because he has an extremely passionate fanbase who pour themselves into this program. Reporters ask those questions because they know that we, the fans, want to know.
You'd think he could just answer the question. It's not hockey. Does he think if he discloses the injury, someone is going to try to hit Tommy on purpose, like NHL teams worry about? It makes no sense.

He is testy because he knows he has deficiencies and is worried about his team. He hasn’t mastered yet the art of playing your best baseball at the end of the season in this league. We have been struggling since the SC series and he knows how good we would be with just an average bullpen. He knows getting to Omaha is going to be a 50/50 toss up. Plus he is always tight lipped on any injuries or what ever is going on with Tommy White.
