I said it before and I will say it again. The guy was a recruiter and a analytics guy. He could not coach his way out of a wet paper back. He could not draw up a simple, Biddy Basketball give and go or pick and roll. Simply could not draw up anything or even make the most basic adjustments. This Dude was defended more than possibly any Coach in LSU History. He was more a product of the previous two guys being terrible than what he actually accomplished. 1 SEC Title in his first year and only 1 NCAA Tourney win. His record got worse each year. This Dude was not the Coaching Guru/Savior that a lot make him out to be!

When the hell did people become fans of the coach and not the team? I never understood this nonsense with O and makes even less sense with Wade. I liked Wade, I defended his coaching on here from the idiots that overreact to every loss but based on the reports he needed to go and I will root for LSU no matter who the next coach is

Get that bs out of here. You support a coach that outworks, out recruits, and out coaches the others fairly. Wade cheated, got caught, and we still paid his sorry arse for 4 years while you idiots said Forde was full of shite, Vitalle was a whiner, and they had nothing on us.

I don’t see the point of penalizing the next coach, players and the recovery of the program by pouting over a coach that is leaving us an embarrassment to college basketball.
The quickest way for us as fans to help the program recover quickly is to be at games, create an attractive environment to recruits, create a home-court atmosphere conducive to winning and keep money going into the program to support development.
It’s an unfortunate truth for some of you who want to penalize Woodward, Tate and whoever else you think did Wade wrong. But the CWW, tPear and General ship has sailed. Fun times, but we move on as LSU, not as Will Wade apologists, if we want to get back to winning as quickly as possible. We as fans are critical in rehabbing the program’s reputation. That’s the only control we wield.

Ask them what? He’s been there since 2003 and won a NC. Again I liked Wade but he’s been here for 5 years 4 of which have been under a cloud. So i really don’t get the going to the mattresses for him. I don’t follow Kansas so i don’t know what the allegations against them were but the ones against Wade are pretty serious not all violations are the same and how much proof there is matters.

That's the great façade surrounding Wade. That he was the end-all-be-all of college basketball coaches. Now, his mystique will grow even faster based on what some here believe he "would've accomplished". Bottom line is he only coached one NCAA tournament game that resulted in a win.
