It’s crazy how emotional people get about college sports.

and the penalties we are hit with will be because we admitted guilt. If we had just kept Wade and told the NCAA to frick off we could have a good coach and no sanctions.

What naive nonsense

As for the coaches you keep bringing up Self, but Bruce Pearl was fired for less than what’s been reported about Wade and yet here is Tennessee in command for the SEC Title and likely at worst a 3 seed

Go pull for another team bitch because you are not a true supporter of LSU. WW brought this shite on himself.

Naive is thinking admiring anything to the NCAA gets you somewhere

Well actually it does get you somewhere, into a world of sanctions and trouble. This has been proven time and time again

Absolutely false…..everything he did is 100% legal today.

Again not every situation is the same. But there is no point in denying something when they have proof. Being defiant didn’t end well for Dale Brown or Jerry Tarkanian. What sanctions did Tennessee get when they fired Pearl?

I’m not Wade sword swallower , but if you think we’ll have a program to compete in the SEC you’re a sadly mistaken. Even without sanctions we wouldn’t have the talent coming here any longer. One thing is for certain you’ll have your pick of seats, just behind the nursing home fans that don’t know who the coach is anyway, but they’ll ask SW to turn up the heat because it’ll definitely be colder with less people.

People will disagree but you are largely correct. People will say players can’t be paid directly from the coach, but all that needs to be done is a coach pay a player through a shell corporation, it’s not just a coincidence that Texas A&M had a better recruiting class than Alabama.

How many times are people going to be “done” with LSU sports? You’d think at this point we’d no longer have sports. Some of y’all are so goddamn dramatic

Telling the NCAA to frick off doesn’t work when they have piles of evidence proving you did what you’re being accused of.

Absolutely correct!

Hell Texas even told their players how much they would make per year.

Yes it does. There are not piles but rather mountains of evidence that Duke paid Zion, we even know the dollar amounts, it’s hilarious. And they are fine

I don’t understand why we are all Team Wade here. I think his intentions were good and he wanted to build a winner, but he got so sloppy that I have to question his intelligence.

Not sure what Woodward was supposed to do here. He would have overlooked this if Wade wasn’t so damn sloppy.

Wade got too sloppy. It is what it is, not LSU’s fault.

If you think this then you are most certainly this

Wade sword swallower

Wade was a good coach I liked him, I wish this didn’t happen and he was still here but he is not the only good basketball coach in this world and while people get tired of hearing it but the AD has a record of making good hires.

And before someone says Buzz was a bad hire this is only his 3rd year after 2 pandemic effected seasons they improved and made the SEC Final probably playing themselves off the bubble into the NCAA. Next year will be the year to judge him

The fact some many LSU fans keep falling back on this is hilarious and sad and just a pathetic attempt at rationalization.

Please note I’m not saying Duke never did anything but they weren’t on tape doing it either
