What’s Going To Happen
If you liked the Auburn-Florida turnover-fest, get ready for more of the same – only with even more intensity to the battle.

The Gators have come up with three or more takeaways in each of their last four games, and they’ve turned it over two times or more four times on the season. They’ll capitalize on a few big mistakes to keep this close.

However, even though Burrow and the LSU offense will be held in check for most of the game, it’ll get its shots in just enough to get out to a lead the Gators won’t be able to overcome.

The Gators aren’t holding this offense to under 30 points.

No chance LSU scores only 26 pts. This Florida D is overhyped.

Over hyped? And what defense have we faced this year?

I’m going to be shocked if this isn’t a blowout. Florida is a 8-4 team

This is my thought as well. They are going to be ripping at the ball every time our RBs and WRs have it. I also worry about them sitting on out routes where Burrow has had his few INTs. I'd rather he test the middle and deep sideline plays and let our WRs win the battle for the ball.

If we play a clean game, no turnovers or broken plays we win big. Otherwise this game is a 4th QTR toss up.

Be prepared to be shocked because these games always have a way of being a battle and close.

I'm hoping for a blowout but expecting a close one.

Nothing "fearless" about predicting a close game in this context...

Almost every computer model I’ve seen has us scoring over 40.

Especially when Emery has it. He tends to let that ball swing away from his body.

Kentucky scored 21

Do you really see LSU only scoring 5 more points than UK?

ETA: Miami also scored 20

Mullen has shown his chops against Aranda's defense in the past. While he hasn't exploded for huge numbers (outside the 2017 game when LSU was so depleted), he's been able to methodically wear down the LSU front. But....ALL of those games were away from Tiger Stadium. Trask, who is going to be hobbled (it's just a matter of how much) hasn't played in a tough road environment yet and all the pieces are in place for this to be a hostile atmosphere Sat. night (top 10 matchup, night game, very comfortable weather, national spotlight)

In the past two games UF's plodding offense was able to hang around because LSU's offense never threatened to run away and hide. If LSU's offense can look close to the level its played at thus far, Mullen will likely be forced out of his shell and though the defense hasn't looked like a "vintage" LSU defense just yet, it's not as if the guys on the field (almost all of whom are veterans) somehow just forgot how to play this year. I think the potential for dominant performance by the defense is there and all the ingredients for such a performance coming this week are lining up

we have played like shite against UF three years running

look for O to want to make a statement

pedal to the metal

classic history tells us safe prediction is a close, tough sec nailbiter. CFN's drivel is not fearless at all. it is as safe as you can get.

if we can run screens to back off their pass rush we will gouge them. i do not see them scoring over 21 to 24. i cannot see us scoring less than 35 regardless of any mistakes.

tigers by 11? very doable. may not cover spread but we can win by double digits. It would be nice to blow their asses out tho.

Because our offense has never been able to stay on the field
