Maybe he could play the role they thought Collins was going to.

I could see this being a good role for Shores for now. Eat up innings in games where we are trailing and try to keep it close until the bats come alive. Though I do think Collins will get it figured out at some point and Dutton can kind of be that guy too. And I don't expect us to be trailing enough to need 3 of those guys.

I still think hes good enough for Sundays, but we're fortunate enough to have other options this year. Hurd or Little will probably take it with the other becoming the closer.

It would be nice to have Coleman healthy right now or at least for start of SEC play. I know that is not the case yet though.

It was already doubtful Coleman was gonna be able to pitch this year. Then after hearing he was ahead of schedule, it gave us some hope. But after his set back, I think you have to prepare for him not being available this year.

Plan like you don’t have him, and then, if he’s able to give you anything, that’s just lagniappe. But I think that would be towards the end of the season—he’s not gonna be ready anywhere near the start of SEC play.

I would appreciate if Tanks would park one in the right field bleachers.

They didn't say. Ronnie just mentioned on the broadcast that Jay wants them moved and that LSU is looking in to where they will move them, hopefully for next season.

That would be great, but it would be tough to find a place. Maybe you could do it next to the outfield bleachers, I can’t think of any other places.

Jones has done some good things in this young season but yes, it’s time to sit him a couple games and let him get his head together.

That’s one school of thought. The other is to let him battle through it for his long-term development. The goal isn’t to see how bad we can beat Central Connecticut on March 5th, it’s to win the SEC, and eventually the CWS. Apparently Jay thinks Jones in the lineup will give us the best chance at achieving those. A little slump in the beginning of March is no reason to bench him. If it continues through a couple of SEC weekends, then you re-evaluate.

You can put one on either side of the batters eye or move the LF and RF bleachers back a bit and put the pens in front. Another option would be to stack the pens on top of each other on one side of the batter's eye.

They have room.

Shouldn’t it be 8 or 9 on the scoreboard?

It's 8-0.

Looks like they finally fixed it.
