Only thing that can explain this abomination of tv selection. Need to win for a lot of reasons but it would really stick it to CBS if we did.

It gives SEC refs the incentive to fix a few calls for Auburn this weekend no doubt.

The positives are when we beat UT, broadcasters for the rest of the day will talk about it.

When was the last time the South’s oldest rivalry was not on CBS? Seems like they always get that game.

Yep. Like an election, the results are already decided. Take Au to win.

Nope..not really but for some reason people on this board just can't grasp that rankings, records and conference standings dont play into this as much as people want to believe

Auburn is a dumpster fire. Ga 45-7 wont be a good lead in for Bama 38-7

The south’s oldest rivalry is UNC-UVA

Georgia auburn is the deep south’s oldest rivalry.

ESPN had it in 2018 and 2020

It's a joke because something weird always happens at Auburn.

If Auburn wins it makes it easier to hype up the 2:30 match up with Georgia.

Doucet suggested the SEC is not happy.

it's not about Auburn, it's about Georgia.

CBS has always said and shown they like having the #1 team on their air if they are able to get.

Just poor luck that the CBS Doubleheader was this date, since other broadcasts can't be primetime to conflict then. So, ESPN's next slot is 11A.

This is not on CBS. ESPN gets second pick. CBS gets 1st & 3rd pick on their double header weekends.

ESPN made the best choice to pick LSU/Tenn but contractually cannot put it against the CBS prime time game at night.

No they want the #1 team which is UGA, playing a traditional rival. They’ve been doing that forever some of you just don’t want to see it

I’m glad we’re out of the CBS contract. These clowns have no clue and make decisions like it’s still 1983. Apparently SEC pushed hard for this to be afternoon or night game and CBS went the other way.
