No doubt. They have some good skill players...but Keith is going to have about 2.1 seconds to throw.

So you people want to play our best receiver both ways? What do you think this is 2A high school football?

Jesus, some of you are fricking dense.

This would be a last resort. OBJ3 would be a great CB as he has the smarts and all the tools.

Freshman DB's like Reid, Simon, Peterson and Mattheiu played in the past, but they beat out upperclassmen scholarship players at their positions to earn Splaying time.

The staff is often wrong about a recruit, or the the guy doesn't develop as planned. Because of fatigue during games and injuries, the staff will have to be correct about the DB recruiting on almost all of the freshman class.

I need the season to start quickly...... My head hurts.

I agree, we have enough depth at WR to move OBJ over to the defensive side of the ball

Lol at anyone thinking any our WRs moving to cb will help out this year.

Y'all think any 2 of our top 2 WR (beckham or Landry) are gonna either move to corner or play both ways? Wow, not happening at all. Impossible.

OBJ has been taking reps behind Copeland in the closed practices. He will not play D. Needed too much on O.

Because other staffs are wrong even more often.

For whatever reason, Jai Eugene (5-star), Ryan st. Julien, Drayton Calhourn, Josh Johns, Rocky Duplessis, Stefon Francois, Karnel Hatcher are all recent examples of scholarship players that didn't work out as a DB or didn't develop into the player the staff had hoped when they were recruited.

Because of the departures of Sam Gibson, David Jenkins and Ron Vinson, the staff has to hit their mark on all of the freshman. They may be able to RS one safety and one CB, but probably not more than that.

It will all work out. We will be fine.

Just like when Tyrann, Eric Reid, and Simon beat out vets to get on field, the consensus is that guys like Micah, Ronald Martin, Jalen Collins had passed up Vinson, Jenkins, etc. Also, the staff has raved about Jalen Mills since he arrived on campus. The last 2 unheralded true freshmen corners the staff raved about at this point in the process were Morris Claiborne and Tyrann Mathieu.

Agreed. Moving a WR to the other side of the ball would be completely unnecessary.

Not every recruit is going to pan out in college, thats why we take 25 per year...out of the names you listed id say we still hit a damn good percentage on studs vs busts

Jenkins would've been a solid cb if he didn't have attitude problems
