I was being sarcastic about OBJ, but not really being sarcastic about Fobbs and/or Turner. I would be very very worried if 175-180 pound Dwayne Thomas, Derrick Raymond, or Kavera Holmes had to get on the field at CB at crunch time in SEC play. All 3 really need a redshirt year. Take them out of the equation and your left with Simon, Mills, and Collins at CB. Do Micah Eugene or Ronald Martin have the hips or speed to be cover corners? We have a little more depth at safety with Loston, Reid, Eugene, and Martin. Also Corey Thompson they say can play right now at safety.

Everyone talking about Landry and OBJ aren't talking about anything permanent where they are taking significant snaps both ways. The title of the thread is CB depth. I think injuries should be expected at all positions and if a couple of guys get hurt I don't think it would be too crazy of an idea to see the best athlete on the team play on both sides of the ball, kind of similar to Malcolm Mitchell at UGA. Holmes and Raymond are just not ready to contribute, especially in conference play.

Micah can cover. Not sure on Martin. Also, Dwayne Thomas is ready for sec ball as the 5th option behind Tharold, Jalen Collins, Micah, and Mills. From multiple insiders, D Thomas is not as ready as Mills, who is very legit, but will be sec ready with 2-3 games under his belt. Aside from a major injury, this secondary will be one of the best.
