Can we trust Scott Woodward to make the right move here ? Crucial SW doesn’t botch this

He got jimbo ok… Was that the right hire at A&M?
O is paid hire than Dabo Day Kirby.. Lincoln.. I could go on.. Forget about yday Lane and ole miss are a huge threat .. Texas is coming to Sec w Sark.. A&M is down but still a threat. Point is Scott needs to be smart here… I don’t want to see Lsu on sec shorts n a few years as former bluebloods.. lol.

Well let’s see he got Chris Petersen to leave Boise, Jimbo to leave FSU, and Kim to leave Baylor

Jimbo was Aggies’ target from the start. He was the best option out there. Boosters said we got money, it’s up to you to go get him. He did.

I’m not worried about Woodward botching it, but I do have concerns about the new university president and politicians blowing it for Scott.

whether you want to admit it or not, tate will insist we replace O with an unqualified minority hire just because SJW and to hell with if he can help us win.
O is an albatross for us but the new minority diversity hire HC will be a train wreck for sure

Tell me you don’t follow college football that closely without actually saying it. A&M has fewer 10-win seasons since 2000 than we have national championships. The only teams with fewer are Vanderbilt and Mississippi State. A&M is a joke and always has been, they’re a bottom tier SEC program playing like a bottom tier SEC program, they’re not “down” or a “threat”

I think coaches are a crapshoot so I have no idea if he will hire a good one. I do have faith that he will have a professional process that is aggressive and comprehensive.

The money people at the TAF will tell Tate to FO! This is football and it funds everything else. There is no margin for a politically correct hire. The next coach should be a top-tier coach!

Regardless of the validity in this statement, she was there for 21 years and nobody thought she would leave. She built something at Baylor for two decades and there was only one school she would’ve left for. SW pulled it off without a hitch, so he deserves his credit no matter what
