1-2 this weekend in a C-O-L-D and windy Scott Olsen Field should be considered success. It would have been even in the Bertman era

Won’t it be cold and windy for the other team too?

It’s not like A&M is in a different climate and uses to different conditions

It really is. It's not as humid in Central Texas as in South Louisiana. Even the hot summers are more tolerable.

20 wins this year means more than other years since the conference seems to be the deepest its been in a while.

I think we’ll be 6-3 if everyone stays healthy.

I think we can win every series and sweep a couple to finish 22-8.

Update

LSU is 15-5 with one cancellation due to inclement cowardice.

Seven SEC series down, 3 to go. LSU must finish 5-4 to reach 20 wins against Auburn (25-18-1, 9-12), State (24-20, 6-15), and Georgia (24-20, 8-13).

Let's look at the current standings

East
Vandy Whistlers 32-11, 16-5
GameCowards 35-8, 14-6
University of Florida at Strip Mall 35-10, 14-7
Wildkratts 30-13, 11-10
VoLLLLLs 30-14, 11-10
Lost to Fresno that one time 24-20, 8-13
Big 12 Team that beat Tenn 24-19, 5-16

West
Immortal Warrior King Poets 35-8, 15-5
Tyson Wal*Mart 33-11, 14-7
Illiterate Softball School 30-15, 9-12
Illiterate Swimming and Diving School 25-18-1, 9-12
Collie Worshippers 25-19, 9-12
No Atmosphere 24-20, 6-15
Hollingsworth Jaydeon Willingsworth III 23-21, 5-16

And if we finish 4-5, we may still win the SEC and will definitely still be in a spot to host a super.

If we finish 5-4 (2 series wins. 1 series loss), we will definitely be a national seed.

I actually think we’ll go 6-3 or 7-2 in our final nine games and be #1 national seed.

You don't think a team led by the newly minted hitting machine Alexander Milazzo is going 4-5 against the American League, much less the SEC, right?

I want to finish as the #2 overall national seed ideally for motivational reasons and to give us a good draw in the super

I still think we get to 23 wins as I originally predicted. I just don’t think it’s necessary in an SEC this strong to get a national seed. Going 7-2-1 in SEC series and being 19-10 is a national seed every year.

Absolutely no....we will only play max 29 SEC games and at present 15-5, I would rather go 22-7 or worst case, 21-8...preferring 23-6 or 24-5

Why not want to be the #1 overall seed and have being the first #1 overall seed to win it all this century as your motivation.

There is nothing about this team that doesn’t makes you think they need extra motivation to be great. The two best players are the hardest working and most humble guys on the team.

Looks like this is where we end up.

And to update.

Arkansas (19 wins) plays Vandy (17 wins). One of them will get to 20 and the other will not.

Florida (17 wins) has to sweep Kentucky.

LSU (17 wins) has to sweep UGA.

So there’s a really good chance that only one team gets to 20+.

final tally

Arkansas and Florida at 20-10

LSU at 19-10

Vandy at 19-11

All of those who said they’d be “disappointed” in this season if we don’t get to 20, still feel the same way? Bye in the SECT and a top 8 lock.
