It won’t be LSUs money being used to buy him out.Its independent donors so I don’t know why the BOS TAF would or could object.Maybe yhey would object to breaking the contract and looking bad nationally.

I think he wants out too. He knows he can’t make it work. Will have less support and less money. Rebuild of a roster.

Yes. Buyout is too high. My guess is he cleans house on the offensive side of the ball (Sloan and Davis for sure, maybe more). He's had a terrible DC hire that he corrected with Baker so they will give him the same shot on offense. They will reload in the portal like they did this year + try and build a strong recruiting class. Instead of paying all that money for a buyout + new coaches, they will spend some on offensive coaches and invest in the portal. He has another year or two (unless this season absolutely tanks and he goes 6-6 or worse).

Yes, unfortunately, Kelly will be LSU’s HC next year. But…. People thinking a new OC is going to make LSU a contender next year are wrong. LSU will never be a contender with Kelly as HC.

Im with chefuncte Tiger. If he finishes 6 and 6, i believe he could be gone. Anything better than that including 7-5, I believe he will be back .. I do believe that Sloan, Brad Davis, Cortez Hankton will be gone. I believe that Frank Wilson will survive due to recruiting purposes.
