Who’s life was at risk?

Don’t say the cops because factually that’s not true.

No shite they don’t know moron. They didn’t have any reason to assume they did so the search of 2 kids in a parking lot completely unrelated to what you were called for and pulling guns on them over a suspicion is horrible process and incompetent and the moment the gun was pulled was the only time anybody’s life was at risk.

I don't even know where to begin with this.

So still not a murder or gunshots.

Here in Shreveport, officer Thomas LaValley responded to a disturbance call and never made it home. I also have a SPD family member that went on a disturbance call. The man refused to comply and turned his back on the officer and his partner. They "aggressively", took him to the ground and after finally getting his arms subdued rolled him over and he had a gun in his belt.

Perhaps the guy wouldn't have used the gun but was it worth risking the officer's life? Maybe if Lavalley had been more aggressive he would still be alive. I'd rather be a jerk and make it home than be nice and in a box.

Never illegal. Just excessive & unethical. No crime was even alleged to have happened. But hey, black men.

Why didn't the officer stop any of the other black guys that were walking in the open and not hiding out behind cars?

Or are you going to ignore that because it doesn't fit your horseshite narrative.

I've been frisked multiple times by EBRPD when I was in college there as a white teen.

Some times cops are dicks and alot of times college kids are dicks.

The cops knew this?

Every cop is trained to do this if people don't comply.

A cops life is at risk way more often than you think.

NO they FELT alike their COULD be at risk.

They factually were not. Because the two kids were unarmed.

Just like Koy FELT he was violated. But you don’t give a shite because you’re bootlickers.

Every time a thread like this gets started, it reinforces the idea that schools should teach kids

1) What is lawful conduct/response by the Police
2) How to interact/respond to Police so that everyone goes home safely

Instead, we get various versions of "what the police did wrong or should have done" followed by "the suspects had a right to act the way they did".

So many Police Academy graduates on the Rant it is amazing.

Yea because this is a totally normal way to act as an officer of the law. “What did you hide behind the car” again accusing them of having something on them. Being belligerent and yelling at two scared kids with guns drawn on them. I’m just glad and thankful that Koy and his friend are okay and it didn’t turn into as bad as it could’ve been in that moment.

That's shitty policework. Anyone can have a gun in their pocket. Plenty of policeman have been killed because they didn't pat down a suspect only to be killed. I had a buddy arrest someone he knew from high school for a DWI. Didn't pat him down because he knew him. Brought him to the jail and the jailers found a .25 auto in his pocket. Buddy got fired but much worse could have happened.

That’s because most people are idiots. How could anyone blame BR police when that whole city is a crime ridden shite pile with a bunch of people who actually celebrate their criminality?
