I sincerely hope LSU gets turned down so many times that Woodward has to look at Cannizzaro. It was common knowledge he was doing a great job at State and was doing well even with all the arm injuries they had. His trajectory was great and his personality and love of the game is infectious. He is the antithesis of Paul and he would actually be out at the showcase tournaments recruiting. It is common knowledge that Paul never leaves campus to recruit. If Cannizzaro was hired the fan base would be ecstatic. He didn't commit a crime and yes he made a mistake but damn he would make LSU baseball great again. Screw the optics

Then how did he cross paths with Cannizaro to hire him in the first place?

He doesn't leave campus. I can 100% prove it. The fact that you don't think Cannizzaro would be a great option makes you a total clown

Even if he was possibly a fallback option, that became 0% chance after the Miles stuff came out and the related media firestorm of sexual-related bad news at LSU.

Whether you agree with it or not, it can’t happen. Not even worth discussing or getting your hopes up, because the reality is that it can’t happen.

In the current environment, he couldn’t be an assistant at LSU, much less the HC.

He was doing such a great job the players had to go to the AD and complain about his not coaching baseball

So him texting his side piece continuously during games instead of having a relief pitcher warm up will help LSU win games? I'm sure those MSU players hold him in high regard. There is zero chance LSU hires him.

So you're suggesting the story of the two meeting at a tournament in Georgia is bullshite and they both lied about it?

This mystique of Cannizaro on this board is laughable to me.

Dude hasn't been coaching anything meaningful in 5 years and people still want his bug-eyed arse.

Vitello and Bakich are the first calls you make.

Yeah a coach that was involved in a sex scandal at Mississippi State is exactly what LSU needs right now.

I agree that there is no way he will ever get hired and yes I know he was living a big lie and his former players had some bad things to say about him but I know that's not who he really is. Once again I know it's zero chance but he would be a great hire if a miracle did happen

Why do y’all keep pushing to hire a coach that was fired for not coaching.

Yep, sounds just like the type of candidate we'd want, especially right now with the issues we have going on.

CLOWN !! all the federal judges in the Baton Rouge district have taken themselves off the Miles case!
so our AD - who is doing a great job & loves to work for his home school - in his state, & where he loves to fish, etc. is going to be Stupid & hire Andy Boy.
the new university President is also going to approved the hiring!
