That’s nice. Too bad he didn’t do that while here.

I agree he's probably just saying this. He really has no incentive to coach again besides pride. Unless he finds an Indiana willing to toss around lots of money to join the big leagues, no school with a chance of winning it all is going to hire him which is the only real goal he has left to achieve.

I do not know Coach Kelly is a person, obviously. I do know that I’ve never seen a coach at LSU that I had a worse gut feeling about than him. I don’t think I ever saw that man smile on the sideline, and he was constantly berating our players. I would watch a game with my sons, and we would always comment on how big of a negative vibe he threw off on the sidelines. I wish him no ill will, but I don’t want him within 500 miles of Baton Rouge again.

BK wasn’t a terrible hire, his contract was terrible though. 10 years

Nobody is hiring a lazy 65 year old coach.

No way he comes back. He was humiliated by getting canned by LSU and his legacy tarnished. He won't be successful at another program because he's arrogant, lazy and doesn't connect with young men. The only programs that would hire him aren't top tier nor would they have NIL funding.

He is sitting fat and happy on the largesse of the LSU buyout.

Brian Kelly probably HAS to say that. He is probably contractually required to make his best effort to mitigate LSU’s payout.

Maryland makes the most sense because of his relationship with Under Armor while at ND.

Yeah, and I'm open to being wildly molested by the Golden Girls. Don't mean it's gonna happen, now does it?

ETA: Guess I should clarify the LSU GG's, but screw it...I'll take what I can get if it's the other ones. I ain't too proud.
