re: Brian Kelly is not the one

Big games are more often than not a failure.
This is a self-fulfilling prophecy in many ways, though.
Games that you lose almost always turn into “big games.” If Arkansas beats LSU they’re 6-2 with wins over LSU/Tennessee and most likely ranked. So it would have been a “big game” in retrospect. Meanwhile if LSU beats USCw, people would say it wasn’t a big game because of their record after that.
It’s clear that we have not reached the level where we can consistently beat legitimate top 10 teams. But that’s the difference between being really good and being elite. Once you reach that level, you’re talking about being a perennial national championship contender.
So we aren’t there yet. But while our team is certainly flawed this year, we are still going into November playing for both an SEC title and a playoff bid.

Most of the board is accepting 3 loses a year and paying BK 100 million for that.

What are yall talking about? He’s 15-5 in SEC play at LSU. Name another coach who’s better excluding Kirby and Saban.
Heupal is 17-11
Kiffin is 22-15
Kelly is not as bad of a coach as you dipshits make him seem. Sure he could be better but he provides stability. Something LSU never has had.
Do yall understand how down bad Florida, Oklahoma annd Auburn are? LSU could easily be right there with them. You sound like spoiled retarded brats

Same with Napier. Everyone was mad LSU passed on him and let him go to Florida but look at their records. last year LSU had 10 wins. on pace for the same again if not 11. Napier already has his bags packed in Florida waiting for his dismiss.

No one I know wanted Napier or was upset that he wasn’t hired - no one

As we go thru the scenarios to get in playoff. Unlike the other 130 schools already eliminated banghead banghead

I thought we hit a grand slam
I thought we hit a bunt single. Mediocre coach who had never really done anything, and Woody bet the farm on him. Our Jimbo. Maybe once we move on we can finally beat A&M.

Kelly sucks,,,the spiral begins and his seat gets warmer,,,8-4,,,

Took Saban 4 years to get a ring. He was also from a northern school.

"He's the One" currently and will be for several more years thanks to Scott Woodward and that ridiculous contract/buyout.
The BUY OUT $$$$$$ is already being assembled privately behind closed doors.
I could see BK all lf a sudden "Retiring" in a few years though if he doesn't make the playoffs and his job is on the line.
Defense looks to be stable and under construction.
Offense not so much.
Sloan: Lynn Amedee-Cam Cameron 2.0
Davis: Totally overrated and not LSU-Upper Echelon SEC level OL Coach. (Orgeron Hired)
Wilson: Don't like his RB rotation
Hankton: WR's still dropping balls.
Nagle: TE's have done nothing. Significant downgrade from Denbrock.

Ok but who is the one. Sometimes the devil you know is better than the devil you don't know. Not a lot of proven coaches out there right now. Especially the way they have to negotiate around nil and the portal.

Even Ed Orgeron won a championship at LSU.

Agreed. And it’s the way we lose in big games. Fall apart at the end every time.
Huh? They fell apart at the beginning of tennessee and georgia 2 years ago.

Yeah, and I’m sure you said O wasn’t in 2018.
Probably Miles in 2006.
Sit down.

If Woodward had any brain cells, he would’ve saw the red flags of Kelly before he even considered pursuing him as a coaching candidate. And the “oh but Notre Dame has such stringent admissions” excuse doesn’t work anymore.
I mean, wouldn’t the major knock on him have been the lack of QB development under his watch? And in Year 2 his QB won the Heisman? If anything, the areas we have struggled have been surprising.

Put your proof out here for us all to see and skip the “behind closed doors “ mystery talk.

Bro don't compare being at LSU with having to turn around those programs.
