Do you think Jay goes crazy in the portal and flips over most of this lineup? Do you think Yeskie and other assistants may be let go?
It probably depends on how the rest of the season plays out. I think that earlier in the year, pitching was the biggest issue, and the regression of...
With estimated taxes you avoid a penalty if you pay 90% of the current year's final number or 100% of the previous year's tax due whichever is lower by the 15th. It is shorthand for quarterly payers so as long as you pay 100% of the last year's total by the 15th you avoid any penalties but yo...

Some of the hitting woes remind me of some of the later Mainieri years where it seemed like no one could get it going, several guys hovering around .200....
It is a bit concerning that (with the exception of White) the guys producing the best at the plate are the guys with the least time in the system....
Durability. I think that the most remarkable thing about this team’s underwhelming performance is that there have been almost no (publicly disclosed) injuries this year. Aside from Noot and Shores recovering from last years injuries, Frey with a shoulder dislocation and possibly Kade Woods dealing w...
Guidry is a two pitch guy with one of them being a low 90’s fastball. That’s too easy for SEC hitters.
Except Guidry was reliable-to-good last year with similar limitations. He’s practically unplayable now....

Man this team really has no awareness. Two really solid base hits, and both guys are put out due to baserunning errors. Would have put up no runs due to another baserunning error if the throw was on the mark. ...
There is no more inane trope than this “no leader” mantra that is spouted after every loss. No one posting here has any clue about the attitude or verbal exchanges in the dugout and the clubhouse. ‘Team does bad and isn’t noticeably excited’ is the way of the world. Literally the barometer for l...
it's definitely possible Johnson rode the backs of two generational players and a multitude of high end SEC players to a title last year and that he's not actually a hyper talented coach. Milazzo being on the team with Neal healthy and Travinski back, his obsession with Pearson and taking Br...
For starters, if Jump was able to hold a lead before faltering around inning 4, as has been the case multiple times this year, you still have Herring available to give an effective long relief appearance....
They aren’t trying to win a game. They’re trying to win two games. The pattern has been win a game, then barely lose a game, then get blown away in the third game. Clearly they have to try something different....

re: tax deduction question

We can logically deduce that the federal government is more likely to incentivize/subsidize capital investments (stocks, bonds, private equity, real estate) than outright gambling....
Has he had issues with the pitching coaches, or has that been a Tiger Rant rumor based on fans being dissatisfied with the pitching performances? Both pitching coaches were hired to head coaching positions at FBS schools....
If the rumors are true about Milam struggling at SS during fall/spring practice, I wonder if they’re going to give Kucherak a chance to prove himself out there....
It would be one thing if they were expected to be this bad but they were ranked #2 preseason which shows the talent on this roster. That’s what’s most concerning, is the severely underperforming
While the preseason expectations were high, it is customary for the reigning national c...
What’s a shame is of all the SS available in the portal and HS ole JJ picked Brazzy.
If we knew when he was signed (during the CWS) that Braswell would be leading the team in hitting in SEC play, we would think that the sky’s the limit for this season. The coaching staff was right ...

I think that it’s more difficult to explain the lack of competitive pitchers from a whole staff of talented guys, than it is to hold one guy at SS accountable for his poor play, so that’s why there is so much focus on him. If there’s one guy playing poorly defensively, there’s an obvious solutio...
Most overrated team in the country. Not even close. Hoover may be a stretch at this point.
Wake Forest is giving them a run for their money....

re: Pitching plan going forward

I’m not sure why Anderson is being penciled in as the Sunday guy here. He hasn't pitched well in his SEC appearances and he got hit pretty hard in his last start against Southern, from what I recall....
